Problem is the guy had fights with two players last year, and out allstar catcher LoDuca was one of them. The Dodgers tend to have great team chemistry , I hope Gagne will bean him with a fastball in practice if he starts acting up

Dodgers? I thought your team was the SAN DIEGO Padres ?????

:confused2: I grew up around LA, I've only been in SD since September

all this talk of the east...what about the west???

I'm intrigued to see how far goal tending can take the Flames or the Stars....Kiprusoff was phenomenal during the regular season...now can he handle the pressure of the playoffs???

How much does Marty Turco mean to the Stars...well, during his 4 game suspension, how many points did the Stars get...uhm...that's right...it was ZERO!!!!

Is Colorado as bad as they have looked over the past month???

Do the Red Wings have enough left in the gas tank...they were great in the regular season, but what can Legace show us in the playoffs...

Vancouver...well...I don't know much about them...other than the fact that they won't have Todd Bertuzzi...hey...the Blues extended their streak of making the playoffs for another year...but they will be gone soon...

Nashville...hmmm...never been in the playoffs...so I don't expect much from these guys...

and San Jose...have they ever made it past the second round???

So let's see...I'll take Detroit over Nashville in 5 San Jose over St. Louis in 5 Calgary to upset Vancouver in 6 and the Stars over Colorado in 7

Let's see if I am even close to correct on these...

I don't like Cloutier, and I think that Iginla will have a field day against him.

Three weeks ago I would have said the Stars could beat anybody, but they slowed down at the end of the season, and i think Forsberg and Sakic will have fun against the playoff choker named Marty, remember last year? If Kariya is really hurt then maybe the series will go to 7, but if he's playing somewhat healthy I don't think the Stars fair a good chance. All I hope is the Wings don't go far in the playoffs. I don't really care about the West too much mainly cause I think all the teams are rather boring, 'cept the Flames. I'm cheering for a Flames-Leafs/Devils final.

Originally posted by Spotnick Well, I'm sorry to say, but the Habs have been one of the best teams in 2004, forget about 2003...We could surprise anyone, but with the recent streak, let's say my confidence is low.As for baseball, the Expos were doing fine until Nick Johnson got injured, it will be very hard to replace Javier Vasquez and Vladimir Guerrero, but I think we'll have a decent team for (again) the last year in Montréal :evil4:

Sharks fan here...did you catch the season ending game!! I was there...2 goals in the last 17 seconds by the sharks to tie and them the win in OT...unbelievable!!!

it wasn't a good day for me!!! First, Celtic crash out of the UEFA Cup...

then the Stars, despite being far superior on the ice tonight (well, last night now) lose in double OT...Nicos, I feel your pain...

and what's up with the Devils??? some interesting results are coming in?!?!?!

One loss away from having their season ended, the Canadiens look to rebound from a devastating defeat and prolong their quarterfinal series against the Boston Bruins on Thursday at 7PM ET when the teams meet in Game 5

Despite the fact that no penalty was called on the slashing and that Kovalev stopped playing and bumped into Souray, which lead to the winning goal, Kovalev was our best player that night....

But I can't believe the NHL is still allowing to have no penalty called in the playoffs... damn it, you can't get respect out of this... changing rules depending of the score and the time...
