Who was Tampa playing last night? It couldn't have been Montreal

What would the rest of Canada do if Calgary was the only team in the 3rd round??? Would the east rally behind Calgary? Must be to painfull to think about

Well at least I got Seb on my side! Remember Flames play tonight!

Also I was at game one of the 1989 Montreal/Calgary game!

Honestly, I live and die with the Habs....

So I don't care much once they are out of there... unfortunately for me, it's been a difficult 10 years recently after 86-89 and 93...

We can close the books for this one, there is NO WAY the Habs will recover this one.

Damn it, Khabibulin simply stole the game away from us, and Théodore is simply unable to stop any breakaway lately...

THÉODORE NEEDS TO BE TRADED RIGHT NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES, RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SERIES... WHO CARES !!!!! IT WILL BE A COLLECTIVE RELIEF !!!!!!!!

Yes we are still alive!!! For the first time it looked like The Flames were the better team. And how about the Flames fans. Of all the games I saw. The Flames fans seem the best. Right now tickets cost more then they did for the finals in 89.

Flames need 2 more! Lets keep cheering

The Habs game was so sad. I really thought Montreal was going to win. I have to agree, Montreal has no chance of coming back. I do hope they can win one game at least, so there is something to watch on tv.

Well as they all say "Go Flames go" :p

I can't believe our bad luck.. coming out of 0-3 is mission impossible (been done twice only in all the NHL history!), even if we played better yesterday, we have been had by the SAME DAMNED PLAY that cost us game #4 in the Boston serie...

Oh well, we weren't supposed to make the playoffs anyways...

but the Flames looked alright last night...

and the Leafs tonight...

now if only the Avs could beat San Jose tonight!!!:ignore:

Books are closed, Habs have lost and have been eliminated.

So hockey season is off for me, thank you and hopefully we'll meet next year if there isn't a lock out.

Good luck to Tampa Bay, obviously, the team we should cheer for, there are so many people from Quebec on this team, it's hard not to!

I really thought the flames were going to win, when they scored 2 goals in something like 13 seconds, but we still lost. At least its not over, (Like some other Canadian teams out there. )

I thought it was funny in the pre-game show, when the anouncers even said the East is going for Detroit. And they asked the anouncer from Toronto why? And he side stepped the question. (Where's the Canadian unity??? Must have gone with Quebec???) Well for the lack of support. I hope Toronto dies next game!!! Let the Flames rule Canada HA HA Ha

Well, Tampa Bay is closer to Montreal than Calgary

I'd love a Canadian Stanley Cup winner.. but I can't stand the idea it could be the Leafs, and well, I'd love it to be the Canadiens, as we were the last ones :p

But I'd be happy if it's the Flames, because it will be agaist all odds...

Nicos...you could root for the Avs...I mean, aren't they Canadian by proxy???

1 - 0 "oh yea" Just when you think the flame is going out, they still suprise us all! Wow one more victory and we move on! I sure hope they win next game, Game 7 is just to tense

"Wings captain Steve Yzerman took a puck int he face in the second period and did not return to the game" When you cant beat them hurt them :D

Yep, I'll be rooting for:

  • Tampa Bay, in the East
  • San Jose and Calgary in the West

I wonder what a Tampa / San Jose final would look like? The very first Stanley Cup final involving two of Gary Bettman's sun/south expansion teams, where hockey never reached REAL success. Maybe it would be a good thing for hockey, after all, although I'm afraid it wouldn't change much when it comes to hockey's status there.

As long as it's not Colorado, Detroit or New Jersey... the won all the 10 last cups damn it!!

(Well, Dallas is the only exception)

Dont worry the cup is coming back to Canada :D The first time since the 93 Canadians I believe???

New York, Colorado, New Jersey, Detroit & Dallas have all won the cup in the last 10 years.

wow...Flames knock out the Wings!!!

well...okay...I guess now I will root for San Jose to finish off the Avs!!!

Everybody who is not cheering for the Flames can eat my shorts  But I do have a big band wagon if anybody wants to jump aboard :skeptic:

1-0 How sweet is that. 2 games without Detroit scoring a single goal! What a defence

The sharks or the Avs better watch out!

Ok he are some stats for you. Each time the Flames have won 2 series in OT they have gone to the cup. Well they did it again this year, so are they going to go to the cup?

Well good luck to the Leafs, because they are going to need it :p

I'll be rooting for the Flames; there's no one else better to cheer on. I wonder if Gelinas will get another GW goal this series?

Final Four SJ and Calgary, TB and Philly

This is one of the most unpredictable playoffs I've seen in the while, and yet critics are still bashing hockey for being unentertaining. Bullshit!

first time in the conference finals....really proud that my sharks didn't fold, but instead challenged every pass tonight.

The Sharks faced ALL of their competition's best players and still won :D

*cough* Kariya injured *cough* Anyways I don't think Kariya being healthy would have mattered anyways; the Sharks D is just too good.

Is it really the first time?

Don't I remember them winning against Toronto a few years ago, but then losing in conference final? :confused2:

nope....Sharks had never made it past the second round...

I reckon I should probably pull for the Flames...as that young goalie of theirs helped me win my fantasy league...

of course Philly does have that guy that coached the Stars to the Cup...
