Originally posted by Friendly Fascism I'm sorry...why is it so important for me to line Mel Gibson's pockets with my money???
Mel Gibson`s no worse than any other multi-millionaire media/entertainment mogul who tries to earn a few more bob every single day. I bet you put your hard-earned cash into the pockets of tyrants, tycoons & fascists every day without even thinking about it. I know I do.
Gibson isnt **that** bad anyway. Hey, he hates the English, so thats good enough for me!!! ![]()
my money isn't hard earned!!!:p
remember, I'm in management, we just sit around drinking coffee, barking out orders all day...
I don't hate Mel or anything like that, I just don't see why everyone is saying this is a must see...

You must be so proud of yourself.
ah...he speaks the truth though...do any of us know where our money really goes??? Just where does all that gasoline that I use come from??? Who is getting rich off my cable bill...yadda yadda...

So you are Drew Carey :p
The thin red line, almost all of Giuseppe Tornatore's films and two greek neorealism films of the 50's that you probably never heard of
After bugging me for a year, my wife finally convinced me to sit down and watch Cinema Paradiso with her, since it was her favorite movie of all time. I have to admit that I enjoyed it very much and felt it was very moving. : P
What is this, "Re-hash Old Threads Day"
:p
Oh well, in terms of "moving" in a good sense, I gotta go with a recent one, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. If this doesn't make you want to go out and find someone to love, you're just dead inside...like me ![]()
Oldies but goodies: Schindler's List, Dr. Strangelove (makes you think while you're laughing), Brazil, The Kids Are Alright (when you realize what a great wasted talent Keith Moon was), Rushmore, Royal Tenenbaums, Punch-Drunk Love.........
