Men and x-boxes?

What is it with men and their x-boxes? Is is a secret desire men have to get out of their system ie maiming,killing,spilling blood,guns,knives etc? Its just a game! I can think of plenty other things two people can do!

Its a size thing. when my missus first saw one she blurted out "Oh my god,its HUGE!",much to the amusement of the sales assisstant and several nearby shoppers.

It's huge, it's powerful, and it has a huge controller. What else could a man want?

hey, it's not just men!

my dream home (lindisfarne castle, with a partially-redesigned interior) will include a room filled with every game console available, and projectors and giant screens to play them on. the seats will be comfy first-class airplane seats. oh, and one hallway in the castle will have nooks carved into the stone walls, where i'll place arcade games, including tron, galaga, and tempest, so you can play one game and then move along to the next as you walk down the corridor! and don't forget the trampoline room with a twisty slide in the corner that leads down to the room filled with plastic balls (like at gymboree)!

ill keep the medieval look, of course, and hang big tapestries all about, and my guests and i will retire to the dining hall for a viking-style feast after a day of gaming (including an afternoon on my personal paintball course) and trampolining. we'll then end the evening in the lounge, complete with fully-stacked bar, kick-ass sound system, egg chairs, and revolving floor (the lounge will also have both arcade games and game consoles).

Couldn't tell ya on that one, it's bad enough that I'm in front of the computer a couple of hours a day, I've no desire to spend any more of my time on that.

After writing this, i realised that i seemed a bit biased.(I just am not a games person) The later part of your ideal set up sounds fantastically great!:)
