Is this Siouxsie Best of/Remixes box set out yet? If so, anyone picked it up? I am *DYING* to get my hands on the "Glamour Mix" of Dazzle!

The Stars that shine and the stars that shrink in the face stagnation, the water runs....before your eyes. Dazzle...is a glittering prize!

Here's what I don't understand...

I have just discovered that this is actually a RE-ISSUE of the origianal 2-Disc Best of collection that came out in November 2002....same cover and everything! So, other than adding a dvd with videos(which is fine), why rerelease this same package 2 years later? Could it be that this is yet another remastered effort but this time on behalf on the Universal label? Since I have not heard the origianl best of collection, perhaps some of you who already own it can shed some light on what you think warrants this release(and at $45 no less)?

Another thing I noticed are a couple of reviewers of the original best of pointing out that fact that the "alledged" Spellbound (12" Version) is actually EDITED and not a true 12" Extended version. Do you guys think this *new* release next week corrects this issue by putting the full extended version on there?

As for me, I will be buying it solely because of the Glamour Mix of Dazzle....which to me, outclasses the original 10 FOLD! The intro to beginning on the original *is* better, but the extra breakdown and longer ending on the Glamour Mix, and the way it abruptly ends with the strings kicks 32 flavors of ass!!!!

She's touring the U.K in the Autumn/Fall , for the first time she is going out under the name Siouxsie , no mention of The Creatures or the Banshees .

Well, she's going around the States now (in Seattle in September). She has both the Banshees and the Creatures with her, so she'll be playing songs from the full repertoire. Hence, I suspect, why she'd be touring as just herself with both backing bands.

Yeah, the dvd sucks, but the pinstripe suit that siouxsie is wearing is to die for.
