Tomorrow I will be in the pub screaming Liverpool on in the Champions League final.

I may partake in 'a few' drinks.

If I come on this board tmw night pissed and talking nonsense (as usual) I apologise now:uhoh:

COME ON LIVERPOOL

PS I think we will get beaten :(

I would also like to apologize in advance; I am going to buy some khaki pants tomorrow to complete my new "work uniform", so I may post khaki-themed threads in celebration :D

Im with Liverpool today, even though they hardly were the best team in this year's champion' league. But its about time they get something big, cos they' ve been playing bravely , kicked out Chelski and of course Olympiacos (the most hated team in Greece :evil4: ). Besides, Milan plays the worst and most tiring to watch football at the mo - what a waste of it's players talent! So, goodluck tonight reds :thumb: .

Head says Milan, heart says Worcester City. Worcester City ain't playing though (even though they did knock Liverpool out of the FA Cup in 1959), so I suppose I will have to hope for a Liverpool win. Can't see it myself, fully expect this one to be a bit one-sided, but then again they have exceeded even their own expectation so far, it's only one more game.

Enjoy the game though, Dave, Hank etc - it's a special occasion regardless!

The forums can get a little hostile at times, but it should never come to this!!!

And hey, one prediction from me, even though predictions in football are highly forbidden for serious fans - but who said i am one? I see a Liverpool victory by one goal, maybe 1-0, or 2-1, mainly cos any cup's finals go the most "hugry" team of the 2 and the Italians seem to me way too old, well paid and full of honors to have enough of that hunger ;) .

Watch out for those two

Milan will win 2-1.

I think.

Would definitely love to see Liverpool win this, hell it's even being televised on ESPN2 for those of us on this side of the pond, it'll be a nice extended lunch hour, pizza & beer & the match.

if Milan doesn´t win i´d really be surprised. they don´t use to let go these kind of chances.

Still can't quite believe what I just witnessed, excellent second half by the Reds. Congrats on the championship title, it was great to hear You'll Never Walk Along repeatedly on US TV.

For those Americans who may have missed the match for various reasons, it will be replayed on ESPN Classic on Thursday night, according to the secondary story in this recap. INSTANT Classic they call it, aptly named to be sure.

Instant Classic!

now i can say i´m TOTALLY surprised by this. especially after the 0-3 of first half. i still can´t believe how Milan lost that game. but it was well deserved. anyone who puts Serginho to shoot the first penalty must loose because of stupidity!

Just a tiny bit of bitterness experessed in a simple question: :evil4:

Wasnt it quite amazing how Milan players could easilly be running around the field for more than 120 mins, while 3 weeks ago (against PSV) they could barely move their feet? Especially taking under consideration that its the end of the season...

Apparently modern sport science can work miracles :evil4: .
