I am not gay or bi nor have transexual thoughts. But my hatred of that shit song "dontcha wish your gf was hot like me" is forcing me to do this. I must lipsynch this song in drag in order to destroy it. Lyrics will be changed--"Dontch wish your GF was a tranny like me, dontcha! dontcha!"

I encourage others to do this. Jesse, can you help a fellow NOOLer out?

I like the old rap, back when it was about killin' whitey and slapping hoes. Now it's just polluted, it's become too popular for its own good. When everybody in the whole freakin' world is getting down to "Hey Ya!", you know it's become the new Hair Metal.

...which is a shame, because it used to be about street life and presenting an accurate portrait of the young black man in the crosshairs of police violence, rampant drug use, and sociatal restrictions. Now it is indeed horseshit :nonono:

I *HATE* that song. When my coworkers play the top 40 at work, that song comes on twice an hour and it's bloody annoying. I want to smash the radio whenever it or Hollaback Girl comes on.

Remind me that I need to cross the Ben Franklin Bridge (or take PATCO over) with a baseball bat.

Best selling music worldwide, and it is utter shite 99.9% of the time.I hate this crap, and nearly all the so-called RAP artists, are arragant pricks who have fuck all about themselves, therefore mimic each other like the boring tossers they are.I 'll take The Order over these Jerks.Heck I'd even take fucking Coldplay, or the nowadays shite Oasis instead of them anoying rappers, bigging themselves up constantly:sleep: Shite!

Can't say I've heard that on the radio thankfully, I honestly try to tune out all of the crap that I do hear, except for the impossibly annoying, such as Ashlee Simpson or Hollaback Girl, which that "rap" "song" seems to fall into. It's probably only a matter of time.

I don't hate all rap, just a lot of the modern stuff, a bit like reggae music as well.

I love how we're all white people, pissed off at modern rap. There's something ironic about that :evil4:

Anyway, I agree with Green. The modern rap sound is...well, crap. I've heard some good songs here and there, but the last rap song I really liked was "Ghetto Superstar" which is almost a decade old

Oh, and there was the ODB song where the female backups singers sang "Dirty I Got Your Money" (that may have been the song title), the video for that was freakin hilarious

That was when rap said something, and was half decent. Now it is tired, meaningless bling bollocks.

That'd be "Got Your Money", a lovely rockin' tune indeed. :thumb:

What makes me laugh these days (in a good way, not at the performers) are the smutty songs as performed by women; they definitely might as well try that angle since we've heard way too many men on the subject. Let's see, there was "Oops...Oh My" by someone I can't recall, "My Neck, My Back" by Khia, "How Many Licks" by Lil' Kim and "I Got Your Man" by Lady Saw, I'm sure there are many more.
