Here in the States at least, Jacko is considered a washed-up horny old man with freakish costumes and boys on the side (much as I will later in life, except I'll have girls or goats...anyway). But does that mean his career is over?

Let's face facts: the man was found not guilty in a court of law. So can he climb back up the charts like he used to? Or is he finished?

Well i'll never buy any of his records. Not cos of the court case, but cos he's pish. I never bought any of his records before all this kicked off anyway.

But i seem to recall it not stopping R Kelly getting to the top of the charts, in the UK at least. So maybe Jacko's onto a winner this side of the pond. With a bank account 185 million in the red, he needs to do something sharpish at any rate.

From the BBC:

"Whether he was guilty or not of the charges put before him I guess none of us will ever know. However one thing he is certainly guilty of is torturing half the world's population with his music in the 80s and he should have been jailed for that at least.

Mike, Manchester"

Thank you Manchester!

Can't really see how being found not guilty is gonna propel him back to the top of the charts on a long-term basis, all I can see is the inspiration for a song. On the bright side, it could also provide inspiration for another lampoon on South Park.:D

Well he could wrrite some songs about how much he loves children.

He should crawl into a hole and die, or meet the same fate as RFK/JFK/MLK Jr./Lincoln

But a headshot with a big black buttplug, not a bullet.

Err, yes. I was drunk last night, and that doesn't make my memory any better.

Europe loves the freak. He'll end up selling all his property assets here and move to France or Germany. He'll be huge over there just like David Hasselhoff from Knight Rider fame. Wacko Jacko indeed.

Maybe for now. It's been reported that he's got a large loan with BoA and that he used the catalog as collateral.

The only thing more frightening than Michael Jackson is his fanbase. Is it just or do 14+ year old girls shrieking and crying at every Jackson gig seem like surpreme irony?

I don't know if he will tour, but, because 50 Cent isn't going to appear at Live 8 in Philly, Jacko might sing instead. Or if Philly doesn't want him - he'll probably be booed, pummelled, or shot - he might sing at Hyde Park. Read it in the paper this morning.

Good lad!

The smartest thing to come out of Jacko's mouth was that boys cock.

the best line i ever heard that summed up jacko was on the simpsons. bart and millhouse are arguing about wether or not they each have a soul. at which point bart tells millhouse that a "soul" is something made up by grown ups to scare kids with. "like the boogey man and michael jackson"

Of course he can. His cult-like following of fans believe he is the second coming of Christ and was found innocent (as opposed to not guilty - big difference!). They'll happily buy his records and merchandise and go see him on his tours. Too bad he owns the Beatles' catalogue. Everytime a Beatles' song is played on a radio station, he gets royalties. John would be turning in his grave!

Jermaine said tonight on Larry King that they might move out of the country due to the media. I wouldn't be surprised if settled in France, Germany or mainland Europe. Doubt the UK though. Still, most of Europe (and Asia) seem to love him more than we do. You can have him and his weird family if you want. :evil4:
