Someone like you wrote: yeah, I really love the Chameleons. Especially their first two albums and songs like Swamp Thing, Miracles and wonder and Lufthansa. Still play these songs a lot these days..

A song of them I'm actually still looking for is "Denim and Curls". Anyone knows from which EP or maybe album this is? (Too lazy to look it up on their website right now...)

Hi there Someone,

It's like Rian said on the Tony Fletcher Walked On Water EP. 4 songs on this one which should have developed into the fourth official album, but it didn't happen due the first break up.

Always nice to see more Dutchies who like good music. If you're still looking for the song and maybe more of the Chameleons please visit Doet's muziekcollectie and maybe i can help you any futher.

For others who are interested in The Chameleons and related. Mark Burgess is not only to perform with The Sons of God (incl. Yves Altana) at The Bury, but is also supporting the New Model Army UK Tour.

Dates: Thurs Oct 13 - Exeter Lemon Grove Fri Oct 14 - Southampton The Brook Sat Oct 15 - London Astoria Theatre Sun Oct 16 - Cambridge The Junction Tues Oct 18 - Wolverhampton Wulfren Hall Wed Oct 19 - Manchester Acadamy 2 Thurs Oct 20 - Glasgow Garage Fr Oct 21 - Sheffield Corporation Sat Oct 22 Northampton Roadmender.

Probably or hopefully an European tour end of November/begin December. :thumb:

For those who wanna buy some stuff of the Chameleons, here's a link to one h*ll of an online recordstore (also JD/NO stuff) Red Sun Records, click here

Chameleons is absolutely brilliant. I was lucky enough to see them in the 80's. Still listen a lot to them.

Denim and curls is from the Tony Fletcher walked on water EP. The original CD version is very hard to come by. It is also available on the 2-CD best of the Chameleons. Probably the cheapest way to pick it up. It is one of the four songs that should have been on their fourth album. It was released after the chameleons split up. It was also played by spin off band Sun and the Moon

Nice to see that Mark will be playing again. He's finishing his book which should be available end of this year (which probably means end of 2006 ):) Nevertheless some to look forward to!

Chameleons are a top band! Used to see Fielding and Burgess in the Brunswick. Think Reg still lives on Langley. What about Fan And The Bellows too? Thought The Sun And The Moon was ace too! Top LP love the singles as well. Yeah, Burgess and The Sons Of God are on at Bury Met, gonna be top! As long as they play 'Happy New Life' from 'Zimma Junction' I'll be buzzin'

Prisoner of my paradox, heaven or hell?.
