I'm not going to choose sides with any of the warring factions (although, if I would, I'd choose Agentwood's side, let that be stated!), I just decided to post this appeal because, quite frankly, even if this humble NOOL'er and our favorite Drew Barrymore look-a-like never crossed threads (I tried, I tried...
), I find her to be one of our best!

I will most definetly miss her posts, but I can see why she'd want to take a break for a while. I wish you well whatever you choose.

well, i've decided that i'm not. al's latest post made me realize that i don't need to be bullied by anyone with reactionary views (also known as 'brick walls') and there are plenty of intelligent and interesting people on this site with whom i can have interesting discussions. or just shoot the shit.
anyway, it's a new order site. that's why i came here in the first place.

I rather like arguing with Al and Conor AND the good lady agent, all of whom have always seemed to be reasonable debating opponents. I'M usually the one who's temper breaks first and starts spitting blood.

don't forget: my thread in response to you and conor got removed as well, al--not just your threads. the thing is...i didn't start this one and i even asked for it to be removed.
there is one thing you and i agree on: we both hope this is now the end of it. we can go around and around on who got personal with whom (i think we ALL did), what one defines as 'personal' (i think we are sensitive to different things, you and conor and i) and who took offense at what and why. we could still be arguing years from now; it isn't worth it anymore.
I have a couple of arguments on this site but for this has gone on so long its pathetic. It's time for all parties to take a long walk outside. There's a world out there.
