Number one has to be You Trip Me Up, one of my all-time fave songs by anybody.
Tough choice between Head On, Blues From A Gun, Kill Surf City, Just Like Honey, and April Skies for the other slots.
ok, i tried to keep it short but i was at 17 songs and gave up. no way i could narrow that down. however, i've been listening to Munki today and this is one of my favorite JAMC albums. for hope sandoval fans, she sings perfume on this album and it's soooo sexy sounding :) my 3 favorites from Munki are:
Birthday Cracking Up black

YTME is one of my all-time favorites, as well. It's absolutely brilliant. Do you like the two different Peel Sessions versions?

I should get you a lend of 21 Singles, Shug, you might see the light after all. ![]()
Best 3 singles:
Snakedriver April Skies Far Gone and Out
Best non singles:
Between Planets Don't Ever Change Her Way of Praying
Best Band in the World Ever. ![]()
What do people think of Something's Wrong? I personally think it's their best non-single album track, and one of the best of all-time by any band.
does any one have their other non-JAMC stuff? I have freeheat and it's awesome but I never heard williams solo stuff. is it any good?
i need to listen to automatic, all this talk about between planets is giving me a huge urge to pull the album out. also would love to hear "halfway to crazy" :)

Freeheat is indeed awesome but don't expect anything similar from William's solo stuff (which he has recorded as "Lazycame"). Mostly acoustic stuff, some typical William songs on there which is brilliant, although a lot of it could only be called experimental at best, downright unlistenable at worst.
For a total Chainhead like me, i'd recommend it without question, but for a casual Mary Chain fan, you might be put off by some of it.
i'm sure i'll like it or at the very least appreciate it. as long as he does some weird shit with his quitar i'm sold :)

Oh there's definitely plenty of that. ![]()
lazycame is not the same name he used for the "tired of fucking' ep, is it? i need to get that as well.
was listening to the live bbc cd today and yesterday and re-fell in love with catchfire. that song fucking rocks.
