"Turn" yourself in when you're good and ready, Pats. But if you're ever around Boise I'd expect a crank phone call at the very least.

Thank you, LE. I don't have any plans to be in Boise in the near future, but I will certainly keep you in mind if my travels take me in that direction.
Hope all's well with you.
Have you been avoiding Boise all these years, Pats?
Apparently there's an interesting Discovery Centre there which ranks #3 on the list of attractions in the area.
Perhaps you might head through there one day and drop in for a snack with LE?

I'm sure you can imagine how hard it's been to avoid Boise all these years, DC, but somehow I've managed it.
Is it specifically a Boise thing you have or is it the entire Idaho state that you're a little ambivalent towards?

Isn't Idaho famous for potatoes? I like potatoes.

Suds and spuds for the first 10 NOOLers who can find the place. No cheating looking at a map... ![]()
Nice find on the Discovery Centre, DC. My wife had a summer teaching internship there several years ago. It is quite an interesting place.
There you go, Pats.
Potatoes and a learning centre.
May as well pack your bags right now.

What makes you think I have bags, DC?

Find Idaho or find Boise, LE?
Looks like travel agent DC has it figured out, P. You can tie your trip into NO's gig here next fall. I'll forward you a lodging brochure with rates, meal times, Discovery Centre hours, etc...
Find Idaho or find Boise, LE?
Finding one is only half the battle ... which kind of makes sense.

Sorry P, is it baggage that you have?
LE sounds very keen for visitors to his fine state. I imagine he may even be able to get you in free to the Discovery Centre.
Perhaps they have a slide-show on potatoes.

I actually used to work with a woman from Boise. She named one of her children Patrick (actually a middle name, as I recall).

Yes, DC, it's fair to say I have baggage.
I don't mean like 'drunken state', 'state of abject despair', etc.
I was actually wondering how many states of the USA have enjoyed your patronage?

That's the question I was answering, DC. What's your reason for asking, by the way? How many states have you visited?
Jonathan wrote: I have to say, DC, that your quite a mystery to me.
Join the club, Jonathan. DC and I used to argue about which of us was more mysterious. I think it's no longer a contest.
I imagine he may even be able to get you in free to the Discovery Centre
I think it's free to anyone, but I'll see what I can do.
Jonathan wrote: Patrick, one thing you could reveal is your age. Please??!!!
That's a rather personal question, Jonathan.
What would you guess?
I actually used to work with a woman from Boise.
Yes, we still have a few of those around here. Interesting creatures, they are...

For those of us who haven't done the research DC has, just what does the Discovery Center contain?

The one I was referring to had left, though.
