Does anyone else rate Brian Cox?

just watched Manhunter, and Brian Cox was quality in it, as he has been in most films i ever seen him in.

i feel he is a little bit under rated by people, does anyone else rate his work?

I've noticed he's been a bit busier lately. Or at least been in better qulity roles over the last few years. Quality actor.

A bit too hammy in Troy though. But that whole thing was a mess anyway.

Loved him ever since I saw Rushmore, he was excellent in Adaptation. Also, if you can catch his appearance on the Charlie Rose show from a few months back (it may have been close to a year ago, actually), it's one of the most entertaining and illuminating hours on TV. He's uber-cool

don't know or think we get the charlie rose show in the good ol' west coast of scotland.

absolutely. anthony hopkins will always be lecter to me, but that's probably because i saw silence of the lambs before i saw manhunter.

i thought he was pretty good in troy (the film was better than i'd expected) and he turned out a fine, if small, performance in the ring. a very unique way to commit suicide, i might add.

It certainly is, its one of my favourite films, although i did think they didn't use Patrick Stewart as much as they could've.
