A new complete FIRST FLOOR has been added to my local TESCO with a rather nice RAMP.I was STOPPED from venturing up this with an ILLEGAL type trolley due to HEALTH and SAFETY measures when we went to purchase a new MICROWAVE.Eventually security let me up there with a TROLLEY that was LEGAL(can you believe this?),i thought they just had a grudge against good SHOPLIFTERS. May i just say how thrilled i am to see a PROPER subject on NOOL again.Glad winter is approaching. Can't wait for DIGGY MIKE's 10 GIFTS to buy people you HATE for XMAS thread.LAsty year he sent out 12 BLUE MONDAYS,11 CURE lipsticks,10 SHUGZV videos.......... :abovelol:

I've started getting my shopping from tesco online. A man called brian delivers it. Lovely chap.

But do they remember the yoghurt?.Sounds like you want some of Brian`s own special brand actually:laugh:

No Tesco's here in the US, so we'll take this opportunity to talk about the crazy man, whose name rhymes with the store, and whose ads on how to get free money from the government for seemingly every purpose under the sun are all over the place. The man himself, Matthew Lesko!!!

It can't be that easy, can it?

They're in the bargain bin at most reputable outlets. Not their CDs, but the band themselves :evil4:

I used to agree with that, back when I lived in a town where Somerfield was the only supermarket (and it was _rubbish_).

But my local Morrisons/Safeways seems to be even worse. Went there last week with a list of items and not one of them was in stock. No tinned green beans, no beef other than mince, no cox's apples, no pitta bread, no budget range soup, no own brand tinned tomatoes etc.. just yards of empty shelves - curious to see a capitalist corporation doing a good impersonation of communist Poland. Though they had no shortage of crappy microwavable ready-meals.

Had to walk 3 miles to another supermarket to get my shopping. I reckon any supermarket with no nearby competitor simply stops trying. And only the wealthier areas seem to be able to support more than one supermarket.

I go to Cookstown a lot & they have a good Morrisons/Safeways there - I always get the shopping in for the week while i'm up there - except for the last time i was up there a couple of weeks ago, when the bloody place was closed:banghead: for a month for renovations. So, I went to the nearest TESCOS instead:D Microwaves for only £24 !!! thats like €36 - nothing! Cant go wrong:thumb:

I wouldnt recommend it. In fact, I would stay out of all the tesco's in county tyrone. No, just stay out of tyrone in general, especially cookstown :nonono:
