Red Sox fall to White Sox after three games straight :nonono: :faint:

My hat's off to the ChiSox. Enjoy it, boys...because it's the last win you fuckers will ever have :evil4:

Actually, I take that back (though I don't delete it): How ironic would it be if Chicago finally won a World Series....but it wasn't the beloved Cubs that brought the title home? The irony is delicious

Go White Sox!!!! (you miserable fucking asses :banghead: )

Astros beat the Braves in eighteen (18!!!) innings :faint:

So it won't be "Braves-BoSox" after all

Okay, revised revised Series call: ChiSox over Astros :nervous:

Wonder how long it'll take both to fold :p

I am SO happy that the Astros beat the Braves...and in such memorable fashion!

Sorry Tabsy, gotta agree with Gerard Cosloy about the White Sox, listening to Berman at the end of the deciding game was brutal.

Hurrah for Chisox!

Besides, who else but GC would run a pic of GG Allin in a story about David "Boomer" Wells...:evil4:

Dav..............err, GG?????

If the Angels didn't give last night's game away, we might be talking Angels holding off the ChiSox, but I think the Yanks will summon up enough Satanic glory to overcome and get full-on against Chicago Wednesday night. Then all hell will break loose...:evil3:

Of course, I've been pretty much wrong about every single prediction thus far. So don't bet on me

OMFG, please tell me that you just saw the "meeting of the minds" between Sheffield and Bubba Crosby just now

That's a classic moment in the making...for the blooper reel :evil4:

No, forgot to turn the TV on when I got home :uhoh:

Just ran downstairs to do so, and caught the replay. Not as bad as the Cameron collison for the Mets earlier this year, that's for sure.

Anyways, the chi sox will beat the angels, hopefully. :)

Yanks will go in the books as the most underachieving team of all time. That makes me happy. The braves are so predictable, you knew this would happen.

The Yankees may very well be done for. Unless, of course, they get rid of the overpaid chokers and skew younger with their lottery picks.

As for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Subletted to Newport Beach Welcome to the OC, Bitch, with Layovers in Van Nuys, Pomona, Malibu, and Stops in San Bernadino, Las Cruces NM, El Paso TX, Reagan's Tomb, And Further Calls of Port in Compton, East Side, Torrance, and finally Ventura Boulevard...congrats. Now go get beat by the ChiSox :D

Only team I don't really want to win is St. Louis, followed closely by the ANAHEIM Angels (can't fool us with the name, we know where you play ball

Wouldn't care if the series was between the Chisox and the Astros, all I know is that a lot of people are quite happy that we don't have to hear about the Red Sox or Yankees much at all any more :thumb:

On the other hand, Johnny Damon would be a perfect fit for the Yankees......c'mon JD! You know it makes perfect sense..:evil4:

Blasphemy!

They'd make him cut his "Jesus as a Surfer" look and go for the corporate Republican business model. He'd be unrecognizable! :nonono:

I have some predictions about the Yanks:

1.) Torre's gone, followed by Cashman, Matsui if they can get rid of him. Bernie Williams will retire. Jason Giambi will be crushed to death by his own weights during the off-season. A-Rod will star as the new "Hamburger Helper" in commercials. Jeter will still be the anchor of the team.

2.) Lou Pinella is the obvious favorite for taking over (seeing as Billy Martin's been dead for over a decade)

3.) Randy Johnson will be a dead weight on the pitching staff next season

4.) Just like in '64, the Yanks are headed for a decade-long decline

I reserve the right to be wrong about any and all of these, of course :p

 Nah, they need a good lead-off hitter, and for JD, I think they'd let him slip by if he continued getting grooming tips from the Queer Eye For The Straight Guy crew. Besides, the world didn't end when Clemens became a Yankee now, did it? :evil4:

I love how Clemens wanted to "retire as a Yankee", then pulled the ultimate con and not only started pitching for the Astros, but pitching the best he's ever done in his career...for the Astros. :p

There's a guy who needs steroids testing...

I think the whole "corporate image" has to go. Let the players grow mullets and Amish beards. Maybe see a return to "Seventies hair", like afros and feathered do's. Yep, fashion tips for the Yankees, this is the level I've sunken to :banghead:
