Can't remember. Maybe once when I was drunk.
O was it at the cemetery?

I did share a quick kiss near the Birthday card section in Tesco last week , funnily enough.Dont think the other customers around at the time approved though. And i can understand their objections.I wouldnt have liked to see it either.

I don't suppose you have a picture of that.

You forgot to ask if they were listening to New Order or Depeche Mode whilst having sex in or around a supermarket.

Thanks, Johnny. You should have your camera handy at all times, just in case.

Will do, Pats.

Perhaps you could check with the Tesco CCTV footage, Pats?
:\pimp3:
Reminds me of a news story I heard on a morning show today. Some guy busted for having sex with a pumpkin.
"Sir, you are screwing a pumpkin."
"Dang, is it midnight already?!"
Yes she said you can CHECKOUT anytime you want but you can NEVER leave. So i married the BITCH!![]()

What makes you think I would have access to that, DC?
depthcharge wrote: You seem quite enthusiastic, perhaps you could ask nicely.
:\pimp3:
I wouldn't even know who to ask, DC.
And there may not even have been a camera pointed at the relevant spot.
Use your initiative, P.
I can't see it being a problem if an well-spoken gent from the USA makes an international call to a suburban UK Tescos security office enquiring about a copy of CCTV footage of a fellow forum poster smooching someone near a card stand sometime last week?
They probably field calls like that all the time.

:\pimp3:
One might almost think you've made calls like that yourself, DC.
"Sir, you are screwing a pumpkin."
That reminds me of a seasonal joke:
"What do hillbillies like to do on Halloween?"
"Pump kin."

No need, I just download it off the Net.

Damn it LE, I just love the way you emerge from the ether every now and then, brandishing a new Discovery Centre gag.
It seems to be a place of limitless possibilities.
A microcosm of Idaho, no doubt.

Perhaps, with every reference, the day will come when you just have to see our fine city/state for yourself. The autumn foliage is absolutely brilliant right now.

LE, I was mulling over holiday options a couple of months ago and could see no flights to Idaho on the travel agent's board. Not one.
In the end I took a trip to Hong Kong. Sure it was exciting, sophisticated, cosmopolitan and all that. But the spud quality was a lowpoint and frankly the greenbelt was a joke.
:\pimp3:

All imi"taters", the whole bunch of them.
Get to Los Angeles and the flights up to these parts are numerous. They might ask you to physically fly the plane for part of the trip, but that's what makes it exciting.
Like, just while they're opening the crop dusting chutes or will I have to land the thing?

I believe it's all based on seniority. In your case I imagine you'd take the yoke when they've got a guy in khakis propped on the wing trying to shoot tranquilizer darts at wild game.
LE Roberts wrote: There is quite a pretty picture being painted, eh Pats?
If you can succeed in getting DC to visit Idaho, it will all have been worthwhile, LE.
Honestly, P, it appears that I'm quickly running out of incentives. Is it safe to assume that DC doesn't snow ski? That was my next angle to take, albeit a possible dead end...
You're not much of a salesman, LE.
Giving up without even a passing mention of the Egyptian Theatre.
Those ancient pharaohs really did get around, didn't they?

:\pimp3:
I don't think I've ever been to Boise, DC.
In any event, "fancy" is an odd word to use in this context, don't you think, DC?
You are aware, I assume, that the "e" in Boise is pronounced?
Apparently, many think it's rhymed with "noise", P.
They say it annoys the locals no end.
I just thought perhaps you'd enjoyed Boise at some stage in your past.
:\pimp3:
I believe the only genuine controversy is whether it's pronounced "boy-see" or "boy-zee." My understanding is that "boy-see" is correct.
I'm sure LE will be able to enlighten us on this point.
To answer the Q). Yep, Sainsbury's at Chiswick. I was blown in the car park, outside the car.![]()

Yes, P, you are correct. Though I am not a native (moved here in 1984), the pronunciation is a real stickler with the long-timers. For fun we run into small-town cafes, yell it three times incorrectly, and then run out before being shot at. It's a gas.
As far as the Egyptian Theatre, DC, I should have made note of that. Playing right now is "Wallace & Gromit - The Curse of the Were-Rabbit". If that's not your fancy, there is a Dar Williams concert on Thursday night. Beyond that, check your local listings.
I was blown in the car park, outside the car.
And just to avoid any confusion in this thread for future visitors, I can't promise that this happens at the Egyptian Theatre. However, I tend to park on the street when taking in a flick.

LE, perhaps you can whet our appetites further by explaining how an historic Egyptian edifice made it to downtown Idaho?

Thanks, LE.
I wonder if DC's interest in Boise was based on his mistaken belief as to how the name is pronounced?
Pats you didn't unequivocally state you'd never spent time in Boise, so perhaps you did at some point. It doesn't seem like something one would forget, but who knows.
My interest has merely been piqued by LE's infectious enthusiasm for his state.. and a passing interest in potatoes.
:\pimp3:
and a passing interest in potatoes.
And perhaps your interest in meeting roller blading coeds on the greenbelt, possibly similar to those in your avatar?

Considering that this happened well before my time, it would require some research and I think all of my grant money from the visitors and convention bureau has dissolved.
if your so interested in boise, i bet my hometown would interest you madly. Buffalo, home of the chicken wing.

Boise will be Boise, as they say!
:\pimp3:
You can take the boy out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy. Did I get that right?
I don't know.
Think it's getting clearer by the day, Pats.
We're well into spring in this part of the world.
:\pimp3:
Spring makes things clearer, DC?
In any event, apart from that, spring is certainly far preferable to fall, in terms of what follows, at least.
I was attempting to use spring's clearing of the skies as a metaphor Pats, obviously a little unsuccessfully.
At any rate, I expect Boise would be scenic this time of year, LE really talks up those falling leaves.
Or do you suppose Boise could be enticing all year round, P?
:\pimp3:
I suspect Idaho may not be at its best in January and February, DC.
You were talking about Idaho, right?
All 4 seasons are accounted for here. I enjoy January and February because I ski a lot. Do you ski or snowboard, Pats?
I once had sex in a supermarket parking lot, but it was during the night: the supermarket was closed and the parking empty. I was young and had no driving licence. My GF had a car and a licence and proceeded to teach me how to drive in this parking lot. Obvisously, I wasn't a very assiduous apprentice. I also remember that we spent a lot of time trying to clean the seat afterwards :o
LE Roberts wrote: All 4 seasons are accounted for here. I enjoy January and February because I ski a lot. Do you ski or snowboard, Pats?
No I don't, LE.
I have to say, I really hate winter.
But I don't blame Idaho.
So you could say you prefer the Boise of summer?
You got that hair slicked back and those Wayfarers on?
LE Roberts wrote:

That would be a bit unseasonal at this point, wouldn't it, LE?
Not necessarily, Pats. Low 70s and sunny through the weekend. Perhaps that will get DC back on the horn with a travel agent.

Sounds perfectly delightful.
Does that mean you expect it soon, or that you wish it would happen sooner than it's likely to?
Sooner than it's likely to. It'll hit the mountains in the next two or three weeks, with ski season (hopefully) opening around Thanksgiving. I know of one resort that has already opened in Colorado.
I suppose I can appreciate in an abstract way that snow on a ski slope might be more appealing than dirty piles of snow on sidewalks in an urban setting.

And remember to stay clear of those yellow patches too.

Yes, quite a bit more. In heavy winters we get that here, as well.
LE Roberts wrote: Not necessarily, Pats. Low 70s and sunny through the weekend. Perhaps that will get DC back on the horn with a travel agent.
Sun schmun.
We get more than enough here, LE.
I'd be there for the snowboarding, the skiing, the singing of western frontier songs around a campfire with the Robertses, the root vegetables, and of course, the learning adventure of the Discovery Centre.
Perhaps Pats will fly over and join us. Maybe he'll even oversee upgrading of the decor in the Egyptian Theatre.
:\pimp3:
What makes you think I have any relevant expertise to bring to bear on a project such as upgrading the decor of the Egyptian Theater, DC?
Just a hunch, P.
Thought you might have some natural talents in the interior design field.
Do you?
