Yes, P, you are correct. Though I am not a native (moved here in 1984), the pronunciation is a real stickler with the long-timers. For fun we run into small-town cafes, yell it three times incorrectly, and then run out before being shot at. It's a gas.

As far as the Egyptian Theatre, DC, I should have made note of that. Playing right now is "Wallace & Gromit - The Curse of the Were-Rabbit". If that's not your fancy, there is a Dar Williams concert on Thursday night. Beyond that, check your local listings.

Considering that this happened well before my time, it would require some research and I think all of my grant money from the visitors and convention bureau has dissolved.
