from what i've read/seen Americans back in the 50s used to really like Spam also, it was considered modern and easy just like the microwaved meal crap people buy now... but that is funny that they give Spam as a special present when now Americans consider Spam one step above dog food

people still eat Hot Dogs thou... that is just about as much as mystery meat as Spam but i guess the package doesnt ooze gelatious fat when you open the Hot Dogs... Spam is nice and salty too, I bet that is one reason the South Koreans like it

isn't it also a staple food in bachelor pads? i've had male friends who ate, erm, dog biscuits.

never eat it. Well once or twice. Sounds at bit like out meat pies. You never know what's in it.

Spam looks like scrapple, except it's pink.
