Shit man, those are really lovely...I completely envy anyone who can even make a pretty mark, I have NO ability that way at all, my art teachers at school all despaired at me. Those are really excellent, I take it they are studies rather than imaginings. You don;t become an arist man, you already are one, the only remaining question is can you eat on it's income. :)
You obviously have a gift in the old sketching department
Those are very skillfully drawn and coloured! Your eye for detail on the hand is particularly impressive.
I really wanted to be great at art at school but unfortunately couldn't draw or paint to save myself despite persistant tries. So to balance out my mark I just wrote really detailed critical essays. I couldn't draw to fcuking save myself but I could critique art for Scotland ![]()
Those are quite nice, Barcode. The fruits remind me a bit of Cezanne, to tell you the truth! You show a lot of promise, in my opinion. ![]()
Hey Ian,
Do you freelance? I'm always on ther look out for new Illustrators for one of my magazines. Send me more samples if you are interested :D

Thanks for your opinion, guys. I know the objects are boring but that's for studies (ok, next study will be of a nude body, hehe).
I'm left-handed indeed, is it that obvious?? ![]()
I go thru studies now - mostly watercolor or coal. I don't know where I'll be brought to, but I want to paint something that I feel. I find the process quite interesting. :) I wish I had a teacher or someone who would be able to correct.
Nice piece of work Ian.
