I am surprised, the top left of my TV sceen said "BEN v MAN U", you would have thought they would have beat a team reduced to 1 man

This comes back to my theory that the larger portion of Man-u fans, like the larger portion of Schumacher fans, are just red-wearing retards who are following the glory.
Me wee sis (in footy a apurs fan so no stranger to lost causes), watched every Grand Prix religiously since about 1996...this year when fucko didn't win dick....she missed more than half of them. Baffling. All I care about in F1 is watching some clever driving, scarey machines and hopefully some racing (fat fucking chance in those mobile playstations). I'd have thought a true fan of any sport would be the same. Nevertheless, if Man-U went, say 10 years without a victory in anything, if they ended up in division 4, I wonder if all those shops would stay open.....real fans would still follow tem right?

Well, last time we got relegated we were still the best supported club in the land. But that was '74 and times are different now. If the prawn sandwich eating corporate numpties do decide to bail out there wont be many tears shed in Manchester. But quite a few in Florida probably 
There are a lot of Utd fans that actually want us to fail as they see that as the only way to get rid of Glazer, I'm not that extreme, but there's a lot of apathy and moaning on the terraces at the moment, and being miserable mancs it suits us just fine

hmmmm, yes I can see that getting rid of annoying leech fans would be a plus side of suddenly failing.
Don't you think MU courted their current glazer/corporate numpty problems, by essentially being the first high profile UK team to start adopting a more US business model?
Still, it could be worse, they could have moved the club to London.
FWIW, I've always been gentlemanly about sport (1300hrs to 1500hrs on alternate sundays for half the year notwithstanding)...I used to get beaten up at school for answering the question "do you support man u or liverpool" with "they're both quite good" (and "celtic/glentoran vs Rangers/linfield" with "who"....that got my balls knocked in a few times too.)
the looks on the faces of all those OLD men in the stadium were classic.
surely Roy Keane would have been fit by now if he hadn't cried off. that game last night was made for Keane. Silvestre is rubbish and the Giraffe fucked up for the first goal.
