my old turntable has been broken for more than 10 years. i use it to store my remote controls.
it being broken has saved my vinyl collection. that's why i love it.

Ha ha that 1st post brings to mind every disco I've done using old 7" singles.Record jumps...out come the penny on top of the cartridge...no joy..out comes 2 pence...then 10 pence..50?
Nevermind how's about feasting your eyes on this fcuker. My faithful JEAN MICHEL "SYNCRO". It's fifteen years old,I bought as an Ex-demo model £330 back then. It was my first ever record player,since I always bought cassettes.And to this day it still sounds amazing. Guess what was the first vinyl LP I bought to play on it....TECHNIQUE!!
It's got a perspex lid,platter,base. Folks don't bother with a fireplace as a centre piece for your living room.You want one of these!
Oh and any arguement about CD vs VINYL.Wait till you hear FINE TIME or BLT (Richard X remix) on vinyl.

what kind of cartrige do you use. needle and cartridge are probably more inportant to getting good sound than the rest of the turntable. i used to use a stanton mark v.

I use Stanton's on my disco equipment,but it's been that long since I changed the one on my Syncro..Not being fair to my vinyl.Like Charles Bronson...digging tunnels!
