yeah, pretty much used it to see all the F1 circuits (the ones I could find easily, melbourne, montreal, silverstone, spa etc), then got sort of bored. Mainly cos no where in ireland has high res imagary except central Dublin.
actually if you flipp the planet on it's ass and look out in the wilds of new zealand on google earth you'll see the message..

the only thing I don't understand is : I live in an important town and there is no high-resolution. So, except Paris, all the places I lived in are low-resolution but Banska Bystrica, 70.000 inhabitans, lost in the middle of Slovakia is high-res... weird...
in order to travel cheap, I have programmed flights from cities to cities... but I got bored few weeks later...
I mainly use it when I have to go somewhere I don't know. I search on a map and then, once localized, I check on Google earth what the place looks like if there is high-res. Very useful !!!
as i said in the previous google earth thread: check out detroit and then check out kabul. they look almost identical.

Well, my city is in it, but the pictures are outdated by at least 2 years.. because when I zoom on my current hourse, there is nothing in front, but they have constructed new appartments there for the last 2 years!
yes i downloaded this a while ago,some part's of the world looks clear,but not suprised that Corby looks blurred..
