Cats

Cats are about as fooked up talentless as humans. Gotta luv them when they miss their jumps.
Thanks so much...you mad fuckers have got me thinking about my two cats that died this year...had them since 93...
oh well...time for another cider I guess...
I prefer dogs but I really used to hate cats, but there's one living next door to me that keeps walking in my house when the doors are open and curling up on my sofa. It's even climbed in the top window one day when i didn't leave the doors open - stunt cat!! Think it only wants to lull me into a false sense of security though, so when i'm not looking it can try to eat my parrot!
Dog man myself, tho no beef against cats at all. I just prefer the human-dog relationship dynamic to that offered by human-cat. For one thing it's good to know which is the master and which the pet.
Poor, very poor...fuckin funny tho. A musical about Dogs would suck balls even more tho (says the man who's never seen Cats, and would rather die than do so unless tricked into it by a hot chick)
(WOTW and fiddler on the roof BTW, the rest can burn)

Agreed. Dogs are cool. I used to play football with my dog, and occasionally take him to the pub on a sunny day, what more do you need?
Dogs have personalities..
Hooky – Faithful Airedale Barney – Precious Poodle Steve – Dependable Labrador Phil - Young Mongrel
Steve Campbell – Mad Irish Setter ![]()
I have EJ (for Eddie Jordan) Black lab +unspecified amounts of allsorts
gibbering mental case, and a 7 yearold puppy.
you forgot (how could you) the lovely Fay! (Wilson's now surely deceased :( pooch )
EDIT:....ahh right....get the picture of what you were really saying now.
Damn I'm geting dumber each day I spend on here
i had a cavy named jean louise (scout) finch for all of one week. i bought her from petsmart--big mistake as she died of a respiratory infection. i was gutted. never buy from pet stores!
i now have two cats, gorrie and tyrone. they are the loves of my life; i've always been a cat person. i grew up with cats (my first lived from 1977-1998) so i feel at home with them.

Aaahh; that has made me really sad. My poor old cat died in October and I found him dead; he never went very far and we looked for him everywhere; I knew he wasn't himself and he was 16, but I haven't got over it. I'll never get over it. I loved that cat like a child. I finally put the xmas tree up yesterday, and immediately missed his assistance with the lower brances. Oh, I could go on and on - ask Sam Chapman - I might even put his picture back up as my avatar. I need some trivial thread at this moment folks.........![]()
From the makers of kittenwar: http://www.catsinsinks.com.
Does just what it says on the tin.
Someday all human conflict will be settled via kittenwar.
P.S. Hey Bentley, teach your cat to sleep on the tweeters of your NS-10s.

Can't believe there's a site about that.
Check this baby out... I'm thinking of treating my African Grey Parrot for Christmas - but i don't think he'd forgive me...

And yet another site...
Gnu, no NS-10s here... can't stand 'em. Been using Hafler TRM8s for a while now. The cat does let me know if I've got a mix out of whack by jumping up and standing in front of the monitor until I fix the offending sound.
I had a siamese cat who would hide under the bed every time I played Eno's Shutov Assembly CD.
Says a lot tho doesn't it....oh look a decent console and rack...must be a wee project studio, there'll be NS10's about.
On the tweeters? small fooker cat.
BTW BENTLEY if you ever wanna kill them, I watched a guitarist do it really well one day.
You will need.. 1 pair Yamaha Ns10 Nearfield monitors 1 Amplfier rated appropriately 1 control keyboard 1 Roland SC55 canvas
- timpani patch 2 octaves of pitch bend adjust level while whacking keys quite softly at random in the middle of the keyboard.
you want about +6dB output on the mixer Then pull the bender down all the way to 2 octaves down and belt bottom C like it just shagged your cat. THEN call to others present (and send for Steve, appreciator of all thing bass)...And draw all their attention to the fact that the reflexes on the NS10's are actually flattening out such is the viloence with with the cone comes forward....while no sound is audible...save the occasional click of a stop being hit as some effect or other on the timpany cycled round Now play C# simultaneously.
Quite a remarkable noise...a bit like a tiny rifle shot...AND both bass drivers expired in PERFECT, almost phase locked sync.
Someone half heartedly said it was me and I nearly got builed for them before any questions were asked such was my rep as "guy ost likely to do something sick and wrong with anything electronic"
I'm trying to find the track btw where rich's mates GF's cat Molliie did a hammond solo for us, before taking a lump out of my arm, a gouge out of my face, nearly removing rich's eye, and curling up on it's owner purring downstairs (this was a pattern...Owner out...tazmanian devil meets godzilla meets a bengal tiger (the thing was only a largish kitten FFS), owner returns to find RIch, mate and me, cowering in a corner with water sprays and sticks.....and while she's still sorting the door out....vooosh curls up and purrs.)

Going back to TPK video, how would Gillian react to this if this happened to one of her machines? ![]()
Most of Gillian's machines can probably take care of themselves :D Bleep BZZZZZZZZzzt MIAAAAAOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Cats r great, that video cheered me up, especially the one of the cat gripping the ceiling beam. Once again, I'll post a link to one of my dad's cats, which has grown since this pic was taken; last week my dad said he weighed in at 36 pounds. Obviously a very, very good mouser.
