It would seem Religion is bad.
But only becuase there is more than one. If there was only one it would be good.
But if there was only one it wouldnt be a Religion.
I've exhausted my capacity for deep thought.

if there is a "god" or "gods" ... maybe he has set up the Earth to be his/ their entertainment while he sits on his celestial interdimensional couch getting off watching... constant wars and constant porn 24/7!
or maybe "god" just feeds off of our pain like one of those Star Trek life- energy entities...
actually both of those possible "gods" are just as likely/ and or absurd as the standard monotheistic views of reality and "god"...
Or maybe we're like in Men in Black, just part of a closet of another universe ;)
Who freeking knows! Life is short, enjoy it while you can, and the only way to eternity is to have children, though the only way to have more knowledge.
for all we know we may be "living" in a facimile world ala the matrix created by humans or ailiens in the far future. actually if we were created by a higher intelligence, then that is the more or less the same as there being a god. then the answer to the question would be the same as in the matrix.
"if the world were perfect then we wouldn't accept it."
Its Because God gave us Freewill,he lets us do all of the things we want,Good or Bad...But when our time comes,he will judge what we did....Thats why there is a day of judgement! If God would just allow the Good, then there would be no need for judgment day ! For more info on things like these or question s of faith, please check out: www.angdatingdaan.org You wont Regret it ! I'm quickly coming to the conclusion that God only cares about you after you're dead and he's trying to get you through the Pearly Gates - which is a bit late, obviously. Why else would (a) bad things happen and (b) all the good people die first?
Phhhhh... my poor readers, God lets bad things happen because he punishes for the bad, but since we can't comprehend God's design we see only "bad". Imagine, if we really see that "good" people always have everything fine and bad things don't happen to them - then everybody will become good right away. Aparently, "God" doesn't need this kind of miracleous devotion.
