The sharp musical intro for Safe European Home by The Clash always gets my attention, as does Ceremony.

regret: i could listen to it over and over again. the killing moon: very haunting and near perfect. boogie on, reggae woman: one of the funkiest intros ever.

Way Out by Orbital is the nuts in terms of intros, Gerhard, as is the live versions of Satan with a fantastic sample.

How about the one by Fleetwood Mac that was used by the BBC for its Grand Prix coverage for years?.. it's so good, I can't remember it's name.

Fave NO intro has to be BLT 12" version.
