OK enough with the top threes already people...... nothing like enough bile and vitriol going on there at all.
So let's kick off with the worst 3 bands in human history.
3rd last westlife/boyzone/all-the-others-cos-they-are-all-just-one-constant-annoyance-a-vile-assault-upon-the-human-soul 2nd last Simple Red The Worst..... Black Lace (time may erase the tunes to a dull memory, but it can never heal, I can neither forgive nor forget)
I'm sorry, but my response to the question is the same band:
Jefferson Airplane Jefferson Starship Starship
The Airplane's creative highpoint was about the time the needle hit on "White Rabbit" and ended on "Somebody to Love". The Starship editions (both of them) contributed to the general decline in Western civilization that led to 9/11. Yes, I draw a direct line between "We Built This City on Rock and Roll" to the actions of Osama Bin Laden (I believe the historical record will bear me out) 
I saw Grace Slick on a news show a while back, she looks like Bea Arthur now. Scary 
there was a really crappy band in the pub the other day. they left early there is a guy on tv here who once was in a band called "rasberry cordial". playing bad eighties electronic music.
a really crap band everybody would have heard of, though one, nickelback or creed take your pick.

me neither. never understood the fascination with the Beatles. The amount of open mouthed Japanese fans down Matthew street in Liverpool looking for the mythical Cavern, and bringing carrier bags out of the Beatles shop.
and try going down Matthew St on August bank hol weekend. don't bother. its rammed. you can't get a pint.

LOL, must confess to a soft spot for SOME of their more ahem, chemically enhanced tunes, but most of what people get ecited about/ it's just nonsense.
Besides, they were already included in number 1.

Gonna get shot for this, but Liverpool's greatest exports are...
FGTH (loved em, no apologies either, and if you want to start the "trevor horn did it all" thing, I reccomend you find a demo of them BEFORE he got them.....impressive band. Only abut 4 tracks have stood the test tho)

i've NEVER heard more than a snippet of snow patrol, odd since they're from accross the road.
Laughed my balls off at all my ever-so-cool mates getting all funny headed when it was alledged they'd be doig a wee homecoming gig in our locel. LOL there's better bands on in there 2 nights a week, and they don't go, but someone FAMOUS...oooooh that's different.

But they're not from across the road steve are they? They're from Scotland! Because that twat of a frontman spent his formative years in Portadown does not mean they are an Irish band. They were formed in Scotland, recorded in scotland, played there first gigs in Scotland. ANd are shite anyway!
