I hardly think that Allah deceiving deceivers makes Allah the author of evil...nor is it proof that Allah is not the same as Yahweh or "God." It's pretty clear that the Abrahamic religions-- which includes Islam--- believe in the same deity.

This kind of excessive reaction isn’t exclusive to Muslims. Remember The Last Temptation of Christ? There were huge protests, theaters were vandalized and I think it was in France some catholic fundamentalists threw a molotov cocktail into a theater severely burning some people.

in the coptic christian bibles god is called allah. the only reason mohammed went of and founded his owns religion, is because the jews rejected him as a prophet. before this happened muslims actually prayed in the direction of Jerusalem. So, yes i have done a little research in this field. I am aware that conservative christians do not see the muslim allah, as being the same as their god.

if the christian god created everthing so perfectly, then where did evil come from. this is normally explained with the giving humanity free will, and the subsequent fall of man into sin. yet, god also created the snake.

Anyway i'm not here to debate theology. I'll just make the above points and leave it at that. Take them abord if you like, or disagree with them. i don't really care.

show me where i have posted in ignorance. as i recall i have not actually defended any religion. Just how did you go from Islam to Irish catholicism? i'm not sure i follow that step.
