Monty...re: Trilithium....nowt to do with that.....lemme ask you a question....if I blew the sun up NOW.....when would you know about it?

Sorry mate missed your post.Remember it now,not seen it for a bit.A bit silly that it took about five minutes from launching rocket to reaching the sun.Still, Malcolm McDowall would have had to think up a longer monologue:laugh:

My list would include

  1. bad lip syncing.
  2. lip syncing period.
  3. the bad guy always revives, even though he should be dead, to chase the hero again for another half hour
  4. the level of stupidity in scripts. I mean, shit, give us some intelligent dialogue for once! Is that too much to ask?

Okay, I'm going to stop ranting now before it gets out of control. :baby:

Yeah, I would prefer subtitles over lip syncing. Although now that you mention it, the bad lip syncing in Kung Fu movies does add a level of humor that is hard to achieve... :p

Notice that all the women on Star Trek have big tits? Not really annoying but I hope it is part of the future.

The future is here;

5 mins to the Sun is OK...the probe could have been warp capable.....what gets ME, is that the moment it hits the sun, they see the effects, whereas it would take a long time for them to see it owing to the finite speed of light. Actually, I have heard the figure of 1/4C for spead of exploding stars in more than one place. If we assume that, it should have taken 1/4 the time it took the blastwave, for them to see the effects.

Oh and the enterprise was NOT in orbit before it crashed either....because if it was it would have ripped a fucking continent apart when it crashed, if we assume the planet to be "earth like", it's orbital velocity would be in the region of 20,000mph.

Grrrr fucking TVshow writers working on sci fi....it has to stop.

There are 5 things horrible about that picture

  1. Her breasts are a funny shape
  2. The bra is too small for the size of her breasts
  3. She has an orange tan
  4. She wears a cheap gold necklace
  5. They're bigger than mine... BITCH

Oh and Footballers Wives is shite. I used to watch it thinking it's so bad it's good. Now i realise it's just shit.

Also, hate how Marlon Dingle over acts in every scene in Emmerdale (i only watch it occasionally).

Hate the guy out of the Ocean Finance advert, if i meet him i might have to headbutt him.

That's all for now, but there's loads i hate.

Ohhhhh...on Sky all adverts are loan sharks (hey, move all your debts to us, it'll be cheaper...errrrr why, do you GIVE money away? or is it clever wording to confuse the retarded..cheaper....but paying for 85 years)...or fucking ambulance chasers (did you shut your dick in a drawer at work? then why not bankrupt the company and gt your mates sacked by helping ambulancechasingcunts.com sue them shitless(not available to stinking Northern Irish cunts).

Ocean finance is bad....but have you seen that cunt in the elephant.co.uk ads...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I always mute the ads...I know it's like stealing TV....and if I haven't for reasons of laziness.....I always find the remote and mute them when those ads come on...I'm fairly sure that if I ever seen a whole one, I'd go on a killing spree.

Especially when it's portrayed as "cute".

  1. Acne commercials that star celebrities. I bet none of those teen stars ever had to deal with a zit, let alone a face full of cystic acne at 15.

  2. Hilary Duff. No explanation is needed.

  3. Commercials for fast food joints. The food's never going to look that good. Rather, you go into the restaurant and the burger you get looks like the one in the commercial, only it's been sat on.

  4. The bad dialogue and "drama" in soap operas. I'm surprised they've been on this long. I can't sit through a whole episode without asking, "Who the fuck cares about this shit?"

  5. Badly dubbed anime. Kung fu movies badly dubbed are funny. Watching an anime series, especially one like Gravitation in which the subtitles are rather good, with American voice actors saying the lines in a voice that contradicts that of the character's in the original is horrid.

you've not seen the pic I have of justin timberwit

But you reminded me.

Anyone ever see someone in a spectacle advert on TV or at the opticians that featured a person who actually wore glasses for longer than the pictures took to capture?

Also...using pyros to enhace explosions being constructed for demo purposes. Brainiac is sad....nearly every explosion they do to "show u what $EXPLODING_THING looks like" is strictly yer Derek Meddings "Molotov in a carrier bag" approach.....sad sad sad.

has anyone mentioned....

7000round magazines in uzis? Cars that get scared when the bad guy is coming and wont start American cars surviving a jump over anything larger than a lollipop stick. MIMING on music shows...why bother, really

I liked the show Sex and the City, but there is no way Carrie could afford Manolo Blahniks and Prada and the great apartment on the paycheck she was getting from a weekly newspaper. The Pope wears Prada, not the poor. :D

Yeah, there was this Welches juice commercial with the blonde haired girl that was supposed to be cute but I always thought she was kind of creepy; she looked more like an android then a cute kid.

Johnny, I agree about Jim Carrey, but I did like him in The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. But Madonna, I have no idea how she gets acting roles; I’ve seen less over acting in a high school play.

Steve have you ever seen the show Mythbusters? They test urban legends and Hollywood stunts to see if they’re plausible. It’s a good show; I think you’d like it.

He's waiting for the episode on sky fairies. :D

all the glasses ads- the frames look so- very placed on the person, unnatural and odd.

the timely stalled car, w/engine turning over is classic. maybe some of the most non-sense that can tighen around the neck is the actors' per episode salary. - clearing thousands of dollars to not do much of anything, really. that-Mythbusters sounds sounds fun. a present-day version of Ripley's believe it or Not.

Now that would be must see tv. But can you imagine the riots if they said that myth was busted.

Ads for ageing reversal face creams should be illegal under trades descriptions. All that pseudo science and they never test them on OAPs do they? :nonono:

Ads for air fresheners in the home, preying on paranoia or just sad?

and why is Just For Men, just for men?
