So Apart from Spotnick, who'll lose interest when Jacques gets the sacque ( :D ), and Biggie, who has thusfar claimed knowledge if not interest.....

...... Is anyone else heere feeling the blood rise as the fast car racing season gets closer? I've been a good boy through the dark Time this year, avoiding thinking about F1, and particularly, staying away from newsgroups and te like....but in the last week I've witnessed, not only some excellent racing from the motorbicycists....but also some Classic F1 from when drivers drove and cars were driven (Ring75,Monza76,Monaco73 if u care). And frankly, I'm shomping at the bit.

I know it's bollocks nowdays, and full of dipshits and corporate pets who swan around in computer assisted safety cells.....but...BUT....fucking Eau Rouge at 180mph with yer ringpiece pretty much ON the road......copse corner at silverstone, tap the brake, drop a gear, bite the seat hard and put your faith in Our Lady Of the Blessed Aerodynamic Grip.

Damnit....bring it on.

Anyone else at all?

PS....if someone could kill James Allen between now and Bahrain I'd really apreciate it.

A modest interest. Give me Le Mans anyday though.

Or the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which I hope to go to this year if tickets are easy to get.

I believe Bez went last year after getting the wrong idea :evil4:

Always fancied a go there myself...some real racing cars :D

All the champagne and hanging out would be nice too. Some might be bored I suppose.

Course I would, people would buy stuff just so I'd STFU :D

While not every football fan is a chav, far from it....every chav is a football fan (or at least a clothes horse for footie kits).

Any chavs watching racing do so purely in the hope of seeing violent death (for all I know they only watch Footie for the fights :D )

PS: you should all be proud...England still KICKS ASS in F1.

Deeply....but only against those who truly are chavs, I hold no truck with this "chavs are the whole working class" crap :D

here they are called spides and we hunt them for sport :D

(would that it were so and not the other way around)

That's alright then. I'm chavist too. I always wondered what a 'spide' was.

sick of having the "not all chavs are violent blingcoated retards" argument..if you are not a violent bling covered retard you are not a chav, it's that simple.

in fairness it's more interesting on this side of the pond...our race cars have brakes, and can turn right as well as left :D

Good, good :D

And it's worth pointing out the NO get used LOADS on racing shows..FFS I heard most of get Ready on the BTCC before I bothered getting my hands on it LOL

Hadnt noticed, although my BTCC interest does tend to come and go since they got rid of the super touring rules and decent drivers. Now the DTM on the other hand is fookin awesome!!
