Can't really decide. I'm a big fan of the sneeches, whether or not they have stars upon thars....I've NEVER let go of it's message, it may even be a contributing factor in my liking NO????
But I'm from NI....The Tale of The Zax has a certain...errrrm resonance shall we say :D

at this point my english speaking childhood abruptly came to a grinding halt as we moved back to germany.
Green Eggs and Ham is by far one of the best books ever written. I would read it in a box, I would read it with a fox, I would read it in a train, I would read it in the rain, I would read it here or there, I would read it ANYWHERE.

Oh, good answer! I was about to say Green Eggs And Ham because it was the only one I remembered, but the environmental message should tip it to The Lorax. Not that I've ever actually read The Lorax. 
But even my prof quotes from it, so I suppose I'm rather naughty for not having read it.

genius Dr. Seuss had mellowed down by the time that he wrote those.
there were ' Mrs. Brown can Moo' 'can lick 30 Tigers, today' - or something close.
World War ll saw him writing anti- fascist cartoons. my grandfather would tell me stories.
If I Ran the Zoo. and - If I ran the Circus. In ALL the whole TOWN the most WONderful SPOT was the first line. favourite might be ' One beyond Zebra '- from 1950-again or something.edit - a great rhym-er also the King Stilts.
