1:32 left in the 2nd and the score is LSU 53 - 52 duke. i can't bear these close games. but i'm hoping they'll pull through, like that glorious final four match in 1992 against kentucky when, with 3 seconds on the clock and one point down, bobby hurley threw the ball across the court, christian laettner caught it, dribbled once and sank it to win it for duke by one. i jumped up so high i hit my head on the ceiling that night.

I sure hope that Blue Devils win. As a Tar Heel, I really wanted Roy's Boys to win another championship. Alas, they lost. I just want a North Carolina school to win no matter what.

texas on one side and georgetown on the other for me. let's hope the hoyas beat florida. i can't stand the gators. or the seminoles. or any florida team. plus, i've got lots of friends who are georgetown grads so i'm supporting them.

Great story about the 92 UK/Duke game AgentWood, I jumped up off the couch and scarred my knuckles after hitting the ceiling for that game, a truly epic game, twas a shame somebody had to lose.
Pretty damn disgusting effort by Duke in the latter stages, standing around flat-footed and uninspired, all credit to LSU for a great, great effort.
Oh, cozmonite, I do believe that you're the first Tar Heel who's ever admitted to rooting for the Blue Devils. Good on ya :)
Now, green! I just want a North Carolina school to win. I know NC State wouldn't last. I want the Tar Heels to win with a passion. I'm proud to be in a North Carolina school, no matter what. I was cheering for Duke for state pride. But Roy Williams is a God while Coach K is Lucifer! I swear to God almighty!

Well, you know what! I along with some other Tar Heels are now enjoying Duke's schadenfreude. That's right. 
I'm thinking about how I can apply "Bizarre Love Triangle" to UNC and Duke, esp. with the "shot of blue" line. I wanted UNC to win again, and then after they lost, I rooted for its rival. Talk about a Bizarre Love Triangle.

Nicely done. I have no idea who I'll be pulling for, probably UCLA most of all, though all of the other schools have their appeal. Anybody but Gonzaga.
