question how is a fad recognisable as a fad and not as something really good and here to stay.
...and comedy ties.
Four hundred quid suit and some stupid bastard puts a Bart Simpson tie on to go with it... Incredible!

I want one that says "Asshole behind Wheel."
Yeah, never quite understood what the fcuk those "Baby On Board" signs are supposed to signify? That the driver is fertile? That they're less likely to have their eye on the road, and instead on their screaming kid in the back seat??
:p

I always fancied the one that said "Ex-Wife in Trunk"
Not so much a "fad", but the embrace of crappy action heros for cultural enshrinement at a time when they really don't deserve it, if ever. ![]()
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to tend to my new Chuck Norris "Is God!" website :p
jingle jangle ankle bracelets...
Don't get me wrong, some ankle bracelets are okay, just not the ones that have bells on!
space hoppers flare pants of any type and the nemisis of every kid from the seventies
KLIK KLAKS
them fuckin resin balls on 2 strings at the end of a stick, kids would furiously wave their hands up n down to get that clik clak going (the faster the better)why?ffswhy?
the only good thing going for klik klaks was that every now n then they would rebell against the kiddyklaker and both balls would miss each other midklak and wrap themselves around the kids wrist leading to a dull klak,a klump you could say, followed by a scream and a trip to casuallty.

no way....cops in england and the Us have NJO sense of humour..they'll pull you over, wreck your car then bust you for making a false report.
think I lie?
I seen a guy on telly with a violin case asked what was in it....since he was flying to chicago he said..."just a tommy gun"....and they believed him and arrested him and dumped him for dead in a foreign country....never mind that a fucking thompson sub machine gun would not FIT in a violin case!! (a viola case maybe).
Recalling the awful fashions from my adolescence, I should say that Fubu jackets (or anything FUBU for that matter) and Timberlands were a pretty bad fashion misstep. Also, low pants with boxer shorts showing. The streaked wave hairstyle which seemed so popular back in 1998. White sneakers without a smudge on them (do you not wear them outside?). And, large brand labels covering most of the surface of a shirt, jacket, or pants.
