Typical English ignorance.....you don;t get Semtex til yer 12...up till that it's only molotovs and nail bombs, oh and roadbloacks in the summer ![]()

Subbuteo won through in the end then :D
I actually consider myself as having had a deprived childhood on account of never having had mechano. I asked repeatedly, played with my mates sets, but my folks just always had this look of terror when I reminded them I liked it. Oh well.
Wembley Trophy Football (Mitre? tsk!) 10 Embassy Filter Knave/Fiesta/Escort/Mayfair

bit of a stinger on a cold wet day I seem to remember.
What about Kevin Keegan's super striker, orange & black? and much lighter. Impossible to save a shot with one of them, they didnt half move in the air ![]()
I remember Santa got me. Spectrum for xmas as it was cheaper than the Amiga. The Spectrum was a load of oul shite ![]()

top little game where you had to dock the spacey.
I could clock that game 3 or 4 times, probably the last thing I was any good at, I took up bass shortly afterwards and wasted my life with it instead....man I coulda been a contender.
Was it astro wars or firefox that played the clip from holsts planets in little monophonic beeps, whichever, it shaped my musical destiny LOL.
And even I the football avoidist extraordinaire can remember the sheer terror of standing there in shorts facing a wet "caser".
I had the ZX Spectrum with the rubber keys. I spent all day Christmas Day and til lunch-time Boxing day inputting this programme and at the end of it all it did was draw the outline of a Union Jack then colour it in!!
My Mum and Dad were laughing their heads off because it kept me quiet for so long and that's all i got!

watch it fucker....you and your ameoba games machines PAH.
Ok, lets face it the amiga could kick piss out of a speccy, they are of different generations and you clearly pissed santa off a treat that year. As an Atari St owner (and caretaker, mucker-outter and vet) I am honour bound to make fun of the amiga, and ignore the fct it made every decent special effects shot on tv until Linux took over.

Still got Astro Wars - somewhere.
think you are talking about Firefox maybe with the beeps.

err...i mean these:
I used to be interested in those for as long as it took me to work out where each of the lcd "animation" cells were, then I got bored with actually playinh.....I'm like that...weird.
PS I think maybe the union jack program was in the back of te speccy manual.
