The Duran Duran effort was a total shocker especially White Lines, they performed it live on The Word too as I recall. 
Glad to say I don't own any of the worst 50 although I probably don't have any of the top 50 either...

Let me be frank is the only thing westlife ever done that doesn't turn my stomach...I can ignore the little fudgepackers and listen to the classic bigband horn sound.
William Shatner – The Transformed Man... is LOL funny as hell! maybe it should earn some respect in retrospect, at least Bill reached for the stars and tried to go where no man had gone before... the degree of failure is subjective if had to deny
Beck - Midnight Vultures... Beck had earned lots of cred but I'm glad that I'm not the only one who found this album pretty unlistenable... I tried to like it and failed, i dunno if it deserves top 50 status thou

Dylan and the Dead isn't a bad album, it just shows the bias of this magazine towards anything melodic :P

Well, the first has one decent song on it ('this is england') and a half decent one ('we are the clash', ironic because really they weren't, not without Mick Jones). The other one...er...well...it was only £2
