Much better than that Premiership rubbish.
Went to see Nottingham Forest today, play Yeovil. And of course, the greatest team in the world suffered a rare defeat today, losing 2-0 at Northampton.

i saw yeovil play once--against bishop's stortford. they won 5-0 or something. i wasn't paying much attention as my boyfriend had just dumped me and then said 'hey, cheer up! let's go down to the football!' it was rainy and cold, just like my mood. i hate yeovil town. :(
I used to watch Brentford a lot when I was 10-11. I'm kinda hoping they get promoted, Martin Allen is a great manager but they're in a sort of slump right now. :/
Seems quite interesting near the top of league 1, so many contenders for promotion.

Don't Forest fans still actually think they're in the Premiership though?! ![]()
I go and see Cambridge United and Histon from time to time... Some decent football at times, nice atmosphere, doesn't break the bank and home in about 15 minutes... ![]()

If I want to watch crap football I'll go to FC United of Manchester, they probably get bigger crowds than Stockport & Barnet put together ![]()

As I've said before, now you're not top dogs in the Premiership, all your [cough] fans have to go somewhere where they're beating other teams regularly. ![]()

now now, you know full well what it's all about. Besides, had my fill of the 'novelty', I doubt I'll be going again. For the record, most of us dont get how so many (temporarily) turned their backs coz of Glazer, but all I do know is the guys I know who did it were some of the most passionate football fans I've met. Which makes it all the odder for me, I guess I still dont really get it. I'd sooner fight from within......err, paying for tickets, hot dogs & beer

Sheffield Wednesday must be the strongest team in the Championship at the moment, they managed to relegate three clubs in one go on Monday... :(

Saw you were down, shame that. Interesting that it could be Saarfend, Brentford and Colchester all coming up though. Makes awaydays that much easier.

Sorry, kid :(
If I lived in England I would def follow a lower league team. Why the feck should I dish out £30 for a Premiership ticket to help pay the wages of some numptey that picks up £60,000 a week. I've went to one Premiership match which was Newcastle United vs Aston Villa, crap seats and a load of oul pish. Went to a Division 1 game a few years ago which was Crystal Palace vs Wimbledon. Cheaper ticket, better seat, decent match.
Anyone see that "champions league" rubbish tonight?
If you want to see real football, wait until Sunday Night for the 2nd half of football league review on Sky. Proper football!
