Ok, so I have been going on and on and on about the Pearl Jam gig at the Astoria for ages. Persistence pays, AS I NOW AM GOING TO SAID GIG!!!!

My dad's legend mate bought tickets off eBay, and while we don't have the tickets in hand yet, it all seems legit, and we should be picking up the tickets from the venue tomorrow or Wednesday.

I'm so happy!! And I promise not to make any more threads on it apart from the gig review, which I'm gonna do whether you like it or not!!

I still won't truly believe I'm going until I'm like in the gig, or at least have the tickets in hand....but it's all looking very good at the moment. Woohoooooooo!!!!!!!

Cheers Chris. That's 3 Pearl Jam gigs this year and they've not even announced the proper Europe tour yet!! :D

Snorri......have fun listening to Ten. One of the greatest albums ever IMHO, every track fuckin kicks ass and is mint. And that was the debut album!! Hard to believe because it's just so good.

The eBay guy checked with the Astoria that he didn't have to be there to pick the tickets up from the venue. They said yes.

In all fairness, its not the venues fault. It has to happen like that so any johnny come lately doesnt come in and falsely claim tickets. Yes, this guy is clearly a cunt of the highest standing, but the Astoria are only protecting themselves and the people who bought the tickets. By that, i mean genuine fans who bought the tickets.

So I'm getting the Megabus to London, has anyone ever got it before?? It leaves Manchester at 12:45 and should be in London at around 5pm ish, I'm really excited, gonna be an amazing gig.

Gonna go down to TESCO at around half 9 to buy some food and drink for said bus journey.

Can't believe I'm seeing Pearl Jam TONIGHT!! I won't fully believe it until I'm there, it's gona rule!!
