a more considered list.... My machines (PC's samplers, mixers, synths, misc boxes with lights that may or may not go "ping")

Formula1 ( tho I can exist for the winter months on stored nutrition and the occassional nourishment of the world rally championship)

UK made Sci-fi, because it consistantly hits the spot US shows only rarely reach. I actually feel the world is a better place again since last March when The Doc returned.

My few good friends. Mates I can live without, these days there not much Steve left for idle daft drinking and banter, but true trusted friends with whom I share a certain vibe are what keep me going. Sometimes just knowing that there's other people who understand your head and it;s inner workings is a powerfull booster.

and how could I have forgotten...MY BASS, my current one has been with me for 13 years now, it's fucked, yet I never replace it, so great is the bond between us.

Being on deployments and trips to the field often, I have lived without pretty much everything. Other than the necessities, I really appreciate certian things and don't want to lose them again. . .

Alcohol Being able to have my bathroom in the same house, or more specifically: Not having to wake up and get dressed to walk 300 meters to the nearest place to take a crap in the freezing cold, and then realizing there's no toilet paper anywhere around. Sex

Well after rereading at the list, maybe they are necessities.
