I've tried....knew i wouldn't like it from the moment the made the cylons human. yawn, cheap trick. Everytime i watch it I keep thinking "oh look, battlestar iraq". Some fine acting in it tho. Gimme B5 any day.
PS...you really have to hear "spare parts" the big finish version of Saturday's episode....it's excellent, even tho Nissa is in it.

The human-alien thing was done to death in DS9 (was never much of a B5'er)... but Battlestar has a new spin on it; when a cylon clone dies their consciousness and memories are transferred into a newly born replicant clone, so they never forget who did the dirty on them and how to do a better job next time...
Lot's of other plotlines running as well, especially since the Pegasus turned up.
