Is David Blaine a c___?

Illusionist David Blaine has failed in his bid to break the world record for holding his breath under water, while simultaneously escaping heavy chains. Divers pulled him from his water-filled sphere after he began struggling two minutes short of his nine-minute goal.

Blaine spent seven days under water in New York receiving food and air through tubes. Crowds of spectators and millions of TV viewers saw him rescued.

Appearing shaken and weak, he thanked his supporters and left for hospital.

"This was a very difficult week but you all made it fly by with your strong spirit, your energy. Thank you so much everybody," Blaine told a cheering crowd in Lincoln Square.

Blaine managed to hold his breath underwater for seven minutes The current world record for holding breath under water stands at eight minutes and 58 seconds.

Blaine spent seven minutes and eight seconds holding his breath before being rescued.

Well considerng all his tricks aare fake(or he can fly...you decide) one assumes the stunts aren't quite as tricky as he lets on.

some of his 'man on the street' magic tricks are rather cool but his quests to find nirvana, or whatever the hell they are, are ridiculous.

I dont really get these "stunts",are they even magic or just publicity? I think he`s good at the slieght of hand stuff,but if he sleeps in a box in london for 40 days or however long big deal. There are people living in a cardboard box for years.

hey im not a big fan of him, but he does some crazy tricks. of course they are "Illusion" but it takes a lot of skill. he does do a lot of retarded stuff, like stay submerged for a week, and sit in a buckey of ice for long periods of time , but it was a pretty cool special i think he's an okay guy, l ittle weird though

Houdini was the Best! the history channel had a 2-Hour Houdini special about 2 months ago, it was very Interesting
