And I don't even like footy - would have given the prezzie away!
those ones thru the letterbox are the worst. A cheque with your name on. like from Littlewoods. they just get minced in the shredder.
fuckin sometimes takes me weeks to open some lopes anyway, so not arsed.

Though not an internet con, I recieved a call yesterday from a guy with a real heavy Indian accent. . .and by the sound of the phone connection it probably was from India. Anyways the guy said that he was from the US Govt Central Command and wanted to give me a $5,000 grant from the Govt. Of course he wanted my information. Should be getting my check in the mail next week!!!

Smurfy, use a unique email address, verfiy who the company is etc, read terms and conditions if you can stay awake long enough. I mean who knows it MIGHT not be a con.
Right, question answered, I can now stride forth and talk bollocks. You sods have no imagination...cold callers are to be kept on the line as long as possible....because it fucks their day up more than yours, assuming they don;t call at a bad time of course.....fuck help the poor bugger that rings me in the afternoon when i'm on nights...I'll stay awake like a crabby 2 yrold just to wind them up. Those fuckers who rings yer mobile to flog you some new contract shit, always ask how much u use a month...tell em a fiver and they hang up.
If you want a genuine trade secret ( well tip), I had to do legal checks on sales calls for a while, most of them say if you object more than a certain number of times it's all over....so object a few times to what they are offereing (don't need it, don;t want it, no use to me), and they either give up or you're into time wasting territory straight away. The best is to keep em talking for HOURS when the wanna sell you something, ask every possible question....then say u have no credit card....it shatters their little lives ;)
