The problem with these players is the following, here.
If you mainly follow the French league, you see some players during the year. And when the National team plays, you see other players who you only see in international contests. This is the problem with Djibril Cissé and more than the 3/4 of the team... You do not know a lot about them, how they play in their clubs... So, impossible to know much about him...
By the way, news from yesterday. Barthez, qualified as goolkeaper N°1. Xavier Anelka and Robert Pirès out of the Bleus, no world cup for them.
Do you think rafa will get rid with his recent "flurry" of goals?
Morientes is defo gone but what other striker is gone to make room for some talent?

Totally agree with BRF - you turn up dressed and coiffed like that, you'd better be a superstar. If you're going to flap around the pitch like a spare cock, go and get changed into something that allows you to blend in.
Mind you, he did contribute to last normal-time goal. By gaining the sympathy of the defender he caused just enough of a distration to give the real men a chance at goal.
His was a good finish for the second goal, great technique.
But I didn't appreciate the way he was clutching his hamstring pretending it wasn't cramp and the way he just gave up the ghost toward the end of normal time. In extra time, where the f*** was he?? Don't remember seeing him at all....
He's adamant he's staying.....

Oooh, I doubt it - Germany aren't that great at the moment, Italy thrashed them 4-1 the other month - everyone's blaming Klinsmann for not being in Germany for the warm-ups! :)

For the final, I was on plane to Boston. The captain said : "Here we have some news of the final. France 3" I wondered how many goals Brazil scored... 4, 5, 6, more ? Then, after a few seconds, he added "Brazil, nothing"...
