Had a good seson this year for Arsenal- even saw him tackle a player for the first time:evil4:

At least he's better looking the Drogba. For all of Cisse's odd hair styles at least he doesn't wear an Alice band

Can i just ask, is this guy's name said...."sissy"? Perfect career for him, a game where a stretcher takes you off if your hair is ruffled and people can be off for 6 weeks with "manicure complications".

You need to send all your footballists to play rugby or some other properly painful sport, it'll sort all this noncing about out a treat. Looking forward to Ham acting world championships, tho really the italians seem to have it won every year, I think they fall automatically in the penalty box if anyone gets within 3 feet.

If you mainly follow the French league, you see some players during the year. And when the National team plays, you see other players who you only see in international contests. This is the problem with Djibril Cissé and more than the 3/4 of the team... You do not know a lot about them, how they play in their clubs... So, impossible to know much about him...

By the way, news from yesterday. Barthez, qualified as goolkeaper N°1. Xavier Anelka and Robert Pirès out of the Bleus, no world cup for them.

yes! and Franck Ribery too as the 23th man( allez l'OM!):thumb: BUT DON't Forget: Football is just a game.

Oooh, I doubt it - Germany aren't that great at the moment, Italy thrashed them 4-1 the other month - everyone's blaming Klinsmann for not being in Germany for the warm-ups! :)

As far as I can remember the situation was quite the same when France hosted the competition. Jacquet was said to be the worst coach France ever had before the competition began... and they won...

For the final, I was on plane to Boston. The captain said : "Here we have some news of the final. France 3" I wondered how many goals Brazil scored... 4, 5, 6, more ? Then, after a few seconds, he added "Brazil, nothing"...

We say that impossible is not French. Maybe unmöglich is not German as well...
