I watched it!! Me and my mate Sam have been looking forward to it for about 3 weeks, and it didn't disappoint. The host guy was really good as well

Yeah it was an awesome programme. I'm definitely gonna record it when they show it again, it will probably be on E4 or something 
It's (the original showing of the A-team) a great TV show.
I once went to a midnight viewing of Breakfast at Tiffany's at a local college and when George Peppard came on the screen a bunch of kids started "singing" (?) the A-Team Theme really loudly. It was great lollstice
President Bush has already contacted Face and Murdock about patrolling the Mexican border. Walker, Texas Ranger, wasn't available for some reason 
I'll never be forgiven for this, but what a pile of retarded shite that show was. I HATED it. It's only redeeming features were excellent comedic bits from BA Face and Murdoch (a murdoch centric show could usually keep me watching).
Only thinki I can think of that was worse, and that as manay people were drugged into liking....Fall Guy.

I remember watching the show when I was growing up and thought it was great. Now when I see it on the TV Land channel, I have to laugh on how no one is ever hit by all the bullets fired or hurt when their car does flips in the air.

What about the Dukes Of Hazzard's car, forever taking off and landing without a dent? And Starky and Hutch's weekly battle with cardboard boxes?
At least the Dukes had the "scantily-clad Daisy" (as she's always referred to). Who did S&H have? - Huggy Bear!
As for $6m Man - not to mention the bionic woman, bionic boy and the bionic dog (wasn't there also a $7m man that Steve Austin had to kill?) - the electronic sound effect that accompanied his movements was the only cool thing about it.
All of it pretty dire, even by the standards of the day.

If I remember right, I read somewhere that they built over 150 of the General Lee car for the Dukes of Hazard show. With some of the cars being set up for certain stunts.
The $6m man fought the $7m man in an episode back in November of 74. The bionic boy was a pilot series for ABC in 1976 that never made it past the pilot I think.
I'm not sure about your question on the bionic dog, but he first showed up in an episode of the bionic woman in September 1977.

That was a running gag on the show - that no one ever got killed (well only one guy - EVER - & he was at the reunion!)
The scriptwriter (remember him - beardy, sitting at a typewriter at the end of the credits?) was on the show last night, he said that once they bought stock footage off 007 producers of a hellicopter geting totaled - then filmed a copter chase, which finished with the 1st copter pulling away & the second crashing into a clif - cue Bond footage, big explosions, flames, f-all left of the copter - then they cut to close up of 'wreakage' & the 2 badies stumbled out & dusted themselves off - BRILLIANT - they showed the clip last night too

The first time around...
It's really weird that the people who cream their pants most over the A-Team are either students or kids that weren't even glints in their respective milkmens eyes at the time it was originally broadcast. Not referring specifically to anyone on this thread so don't go mad 
I have fond enough memories of watching it as a nipper when it was broadcast on Saturday night ITV back in them days. But these days, the theme tune gets on my tits (thanks to sheer and badly hummed overexposure) plus just about every catchphrase from the show has been overused to the point of inducing a blind rage.
Something retro hijacked by students as usual then! 
Although I will admit, I wouldn't have minded seeing what this C4 show was all about. Specifically I was wondering how they'd address the bit of "bringing back the A-Team" as one of them's 6 feet under?

And K9 on 1st Oct 1977 in an episode called "the invisible enemy". So given lead times and production schedules I think we can discount one being a clone of the other, besides they are completely unalike. And K9's a very Good Dog!!!.
There was a Family Guy episode where the guys dressed up as A-Team characters. Haven't seen the original show myself, but it could be good if it was spoofed on Family Guy.

The A team is on uk gold 6pm every weekday. Dukes of hazzards on bravo @ 5pm weekdays it's ace watch it with my 6 and 4 year old lads.
It was a top show in its day. I wish more shows were like it these days. I don't know how it would stand up today. X-files it aint. I have never seen any repeats.
JLC does have one of those annoying bristol accents though & he over did the slayer gesture

It's amazing the shite I thought was great when I was a kid and when I see it now I can't believe it. I somehow managed to miss the A-Team entirely even though all the kids at school were always talking about it. I've seen plenty of stuff that doesn't hold up anymore like Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Love Boat, Fantasy Island, and of course the Duke of Hazard. TJ Hooker, though, now there's some classic TV. I also kinda liked The Fall Guy. I don't know how much of this stuff made it to the UK, though.
