LOL Nasa spent 20 Billion on precisely DICK for the ISS project.....it's a pocket lining junket spree.

However the USA also has that crazy fucker Burt Rhutan, who will have a cocktail bar open on Utopia Planitia by the time NASA get to mars.

as far as the blueprints go, i was reffering to the CEV (the vehicle that will go back to the moon and then maybe mars) contracts may be awarded as early as august.

it will be worth billions, and i can ride the project my whole life. when i am 80 and i say how i spent my life i will be happy.

i agree mars is ambitous but i got good working years till 2030.

so you know i do not design rockets my job is much more mundane.

I think americans may have an inferiority complex. Look at all the threads started looking to redeem America's creditability.

well i am sure you are aware that it is in space as we speak, it has been manned with at least 3 people for 6 -7 years

the russians evidently understand capitalism better than we do and are charging millions.

i find when most people understand physics and complex engineering better they are better able to appreciate the difficulties in going 28000 mph

can your house deal with a 700 degree temperature change, maybe ebay has a good deal on some materials :)

never mind the difficulties of liquid transfer in a vacuum.

Oh, yeah. The one thing the US has but not the rest of the world: Wawa. You have to have 24 hour access to soda, hoagies, Tasty Kakes, cigarettes, and pretzels.

I can't remember anything else. I've had way too much to drink.

Why is it always that DM fans like Metallica? :confused2:

I've never met another DM fan who likes Metallica. Most DM fans seem to like PSB, the Cure, NO, or Duran Duran as well. But not all at once. And most Metallica fans can't stand synthpop and a lack of guitars.
