i know its strange on here answering the original post but ive been away in penzance!! and did some MACKERAL fishing.i got the biggest mac of all the boat..these sharks came close to our boat and i am sure they were after that actual mackeral i caught . the mackeral i caught was about ermmm maybe 6 ft long,although my girlfriend who was actually with me at the time of this AMAZING catch is disputing that length for some reason ?? .and yet the boat owner clearly shouted " o my god,what a whopper that is "
