Asylum Party - where have you gone my friend
from an old tape of the end of the eighties... I found that old compilation of "young and unknown artists" not a long before... swimming in memories with this song as soundtrack.
Anyone else here love Social Distortion. In the last couple years I just can't get enough of them. Think they're my second favorite band (behind NO of course).
Ness's version of "Ring of Fire" is tits. Reach for the sky and I was wrong kick ass.

You should check out his covers album "Under The Influences" really great stuff on there.

Marquee Moon is amazing...not any virtuoso playing but the interplay of the guitar lines is hypnotic. Nice to see a "punk band" that is not merely pissed off.
and the title cut is quickly becoming one of my fave guitar songs...

OMD - incredably corny at time time but still they are growing on me, the bass in electricity is brilliant

The second half of their 78 S.F. gig has been stuck in my car's CD player for the last month or so, great stuff. That, and I've been playing the vinyl version of Broooce's Nebraska on the turntable at home incessantly.
