Next time it could be EARTH!

Yeah we will but by the time they get here our great-great grandkids will have to worry about them!

I'm glad I'm not a kid these days. They keep changing the freakin solar system every 6 months. Plus they keep changing dinosaur classifications around. Good ol' brontosaurus is no more.

Now that I've actually read the whole article, I see that they copped out. A "dwarf" planet? C'mon. So the people who want pluto to be called a planet can still call it a planet, of sorts, and the people who says it's not a planet will be able to say so as well.

i failed my senior year of high school because I didn't list Pluto as a planet on a science test.

I find it a bit ironic how it was an American who discovered Pluto at first, yet right now, America seems to be the only country who would even consider creationism as science...

I don't think the person who discovered Pluto considered Creationism to be a science.

some (well, a few) americans believe the earth is flat. that doesn't mean 'america' believes the earth is flat. so, logically, it's hardly ironic that an american, john glenn, was the first man to orbit the (very non-flat) earth.

I was gonna go down that road too, but it really wasn't worth all that typing.

I was rather angry about Pluto being kicked out of the line up of planets. It was my favorite planet, although having never been there....always admired the little fella, chunk of ice.
