Remind us how far you got in the 'fitba' World Cup then ... :shades:

i'm talking about basketball and the last thre times in the world cup we were in the top 4 teams. today we won the usa team so tell me wich is your problem

Ah, my mistake.

Indeed, I wondered how a Greek lad had developed a Scoe-tish vernacular when referring to the Beautiful Game.

where is the vernacular?

Re-read the posts.

I thought you said fitba.

Which is Scottish vernacular for football, cos they cannae speaka da Engleesh properly.

Capiche?

Well, that's just it. Greece play team defense (and team offense, too) and the US players usually don't. Most of them have grown up playing one on one too much. Kryzewski's a good coach, though, I think he'll have them straightened out for the Olympics.

i'm happy cause spain and greece show that today's NBA players are just overestimated

:abovelol:

Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal play and Greece gets pounded by 20. Think a little about what you're saying, and be happy that not every all-star from here is competing. :spit:

thats the problem, shaq and Kobi cant be bothered to play, they dont give a crap, im sure Magic, Bird and Jordan had Better things to do but they played for the U.S. Anyway, and nobody even came close to them, but todays players are spoiled and lazy, regardless of Shaq and Kobi, NBA players should beat everyone, but they think they are too skilled to husle and play D, so they derserve to lose. greece are better

So are the other American "invented" sports-volleyball and American football. We aparrently like freakishly large/tall people in our sports here. One thing I like about soccr (your football) is that it does not discriminate aginst people of short or normal stature. Not as much as most other sports, anyway.

hah football discriminates against the tall and gangly

i'm sure this loss hurt their egos. if you ask me, they're just a bunch of "overrated, egotistical and show off" players. they just know how to "dunk" the basketball; that's their talent!

don't get me wrong, just NOT a fan of this "DREAM TEAM".

if you check the usa's players one by one they are really good-not the best-but really good. Their coach is one of the best in the world. Maybe the hadn't got the time to work as a team but beacause of that they hadn't got the right to react as already champions and to say so many things before the game against greece. i think that the game is about teamwork-talent&mind and usa missed the first and the third fact during this championship.
