Which type of cheese do you use?
Favourites are Wensleydale, grated and mixed with worcester sauce or cheddar, grated and mixed with sweet chilli dipping sauce.

Mature cheddar is best for cheese on toast though I think, some times with a nice bit of Branston sandwich pickle or some times with brown sauce....Grand

Everyone knows that a crumbly cheese is not a good melter
has to be on white ciabatta, preferably with a mix of mild cheddar and mozzorella. Fresh chillis on top and a ton of black pepper.
Although i will try some of these variations this weekend i think.

Actually it melts pretty well and it's very tasty too. Try it Minx I'll prove you wrong
Agreed, Lancashire (cheese) is very good, because is doesn't melt to a goo it has an added texture bonus.
