Is it just cynical ol' me or does anyone else get the impression that Myspace is snowed under by wankers clamouring to get the longest friends' lists or the most high profile friends on their list? Full of people leaving vacuous comments about their largely uninteresting lives? There's a reason the world has editors and publishers.

That might be true for a lot of people on myspace.

I use it more to keep in touch with the friends that I left behind when I moved 3000 miles away from Southern California. It is easier to send them a message or host pictures on myspace then trying to time phone calls with a timezone that has a 3 hour difference then the one you are in.

How to put a video from Youtube to Myspace?

I have a MySpace [which, like my MyYearbook page, is a bit of a *ahem* 'shrine' to Stephen Morris], on which I'm there, oh, every single day!? [It's also on that blog where I've got a particular fan fic posted there...]

The MySpace of the Resident StarKnight.

'This is the way, step inside...'

*great song even!!*

Mixed replies: Depth Charge: what you say is half true. Check the other half of MySpace. I've discovered a couple of good bands and not all the people are there to keep depressing diaries.

Animadversion AKA Rileyfirefly: thanks to you because when I checked your profile I discovered Project Playlist where you can search tracks, other users' playlists, and build one of your own. I'm pretty proud of my first one. Check it on my profile featuring the best music ever made in all ages and genres: New Order, Pixies, Depeche Mode, Smiths, Prefab Sprout, Happy Mondays, Velvet Underground, Steely Dan, Stooges, Bjork, My Bloody Valentine and Mew. If anyone of you makes a profile on Project Playlist please post the link here as you're doing with MySpace.

6217: You might try pasting the code YouTube provides for posting each video on sites. HTML usually works. Actually, MySpace, as simple as it is, has the best rendering of embedded HTML players, when compared to Blogger or other sites.

Starknight Sunshine: I sincerly hope Gillian never sees your profile ;) You must have the only one profile on the whole web with Tasty Fish streaming... great song though.

I can't help it!! I love me some 'Tasty Fish'!! :love2:

And if she does see it, I hope she just gets a good laugh out of it! :P Can't help it--guess it's a funny fangirly thingie or whatever you want to call it. I think it's the *final sudden* realization of a supposed lifelong crush.

You know, it makes me wonder as to who might have 'Tasty Fish' on their MySpace.

She probably will, but no wonder if we see Phil Cunningham's wife replacing Steve at the drums on the next American tour... ;)

As I've said you're probably the only one, but you can always ask on The Other Two's (fan)profile comments. I'd definitely have chosen Superhighways from that profile though, a truly wonderful song.
